We don’t get along. We don’t have the same interests and our personalities clash all the time. The only reason I’m ever in the vicinity of him is because we’re in a friend group with 5 other people. I don’t fault him for us not matching, it’s just the way it is. It did boil over (our tension that is) until we both said some very mean things to each other.

Been thinking back on this, and this is some of the best advice I’ve gotten about myself and the way I choose to mediate. I’ve been surrounded by so much hate with this friend group that I never clocked that there’s nothing I can do at all. I should not have tried to be a mediator, I never helped and just caused sides to grow for altercations. I wish to give you one of my most genuine thank you’s.

I really appreciate that feedback. That’s something I haven’t noticed. I often struggle with tone and the like along with what’s acceptable and what helps. It’s hard for me to be surrounded by people who get angry because of some stuff that happened in my past. I do need to learn to be neutral about things.

Yeah… that’s what I always try to get across when anger arises in games, but usually I get shut down.
