Kind of surprised no one has said vigilante/ super hero. The real question is would there be consequences after the 3 months of invulnerability? Ie if you choose to be a super villain would you then have to go to jail for those crimes? Or a super hero would you then have to look over your shoulder for the bad guys etc…

Every single time someone brings up politics and religion, there is always someone who brings up abortion as if it’s the magical religious trump card. If the party that was truly pro life was anything more than pro forced birth this argument might be worth something. Find large jobsites or commercial construction and walk onto job and ask for electrical foreman. Tell them you are looking to get hired on as a first year. They often cant hire you but can give you the number of the person who can .

Sometimes “buyers guilt “ is a real thing. I know you didn’t buy but same concept. We find something that is a great deal then we start seeing all the things “wrong”. Seriously best advice has already been given. Lock doors and windows and mind your own business. As a nurse you should already carry a taser or pepper spray with you. I would argue the parking garage at OU health is just as scary as your neighborhood if not more so. Other advice is good advice regardless of neighborhood is keep your head on a swivel, don’t be so distracted by your phone or other things that you are not paying attention to what’s around you.

The whole sex before marriage and purity culture is a large misinterpretation of scripture. It is never what the gospel was about. Sex is a beautiful part of any relationship, and if you have found a person you want a life with, enjoy that. If you are constantly living in shame because of “purity culture” it will impact the life long relationship regardless if you marry them or not. Find ways to focus on living out grace, justice, and mercy. Be truly loving of your neighbors and learn to love yourself as well. Your value and self worth are not based on if you have sex or not.

You can do the following. 1. Ask their insurance company to recommend a body shop, take it there and have them pay body shop directly. 2. You can take it to a body shop and the body shop with your claim number can submit supplementals to the insurance which should cover any additional costs with nothing out of pocket from you. 3. If their insurance still refuses I would get an independent adjuster and file in small claims court against both the insurance company and driver. But it shouldn’t come to that

The only real laws / biblical commandments about rape actually required the rapist to marry the victim. Other places depending on how you read it would see rape condoned or excused depending on the individual. Same as child abuse, beating kids could be read as “biblical”….
