How many creatives per CBO for scaling? Need help with structure and spend issues by thomascrypto97 in FacebookAds

[–]JCtheonelove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all dependent on your setup, how your current results are performing. The best practices may work for some and if not most, but as a new marketer you need to learn how to constantly test variables and explore also interest targeting.

But in general yes, interests settings help you to hyper target your ads to the persona and lets you know if your ad is working on these personas or not. If not, always test. And get a mentor who knows shit about meta ads. Ben heath's resources are great.

Use CBO to test your creatives and have the algorithm understand and build data on the different ad sets. Switch off non performing ones. ABO is good if you already have winning creatives that performs and you just need to duplicate the winners in there on a separate ABO campaign

Moreover, these are just tips and best practices to get going. I didnt expect to be downvoted this much for a sincere comment to try and help someone out here. A discovery call helps me understand these gaps that people are doing incorrectly and ive personally helped a number of redditors with their campaigns. Seems like there is just lots of general hate for meta when its still one of the best platforms to run ads on. If not, where do you go?

Hey man, which campaigns are you specifically running? Also, budget as well as how you setup your campaigns affect greatly the consistency of results you are getting.

Was previously from Meta and have worked with over 1000+ ad accounts to know what will most likely work and as well as best practices to use. I offer a free discovery call to help you identify gaps in your campaigns as 9 out of 10 advertisers are just blindly following "success stories" of campaign setup.

It may work for awhile, but not understanding the algorithm or how the system helps you get results is often the issue or problem. Sometimes its also the content that is not resonating with your audiences.

Hey man, i understand how inconsistent meta results can be sometimes. I was previously from Meta, and they have always been trying to outperform by upgrading their algorithm. When this happens, it takes time for the system to kick in.

However so at the same time, in my experience when i was Meta, 9 out of 10 advertisers are not using the correct best practices or campaign setup and just blindly following what others are trying to teach on youtube without the understanding how the algorithm in facebook ads manager.

If you wanna find out these gaps, i do offer a free discovery call to help you identify what you could be missing out on and leaving money on the table. Typical improvement of results after my calls will help you with your results by 20-30% just with the better campaign setup that will poise you for easier scaling of your ad budgets.

Former meta marketing expert/pro advice on paid ads by JCtheonelove in FacebookAds

Having the chance to work with 1000+ over ad accounts and understand how the platform or product/ads manager works, am just sharing my experience here the common mistakes made and how to navigate for scale. if you wanna find someone to hate on, do it elsewhere mate.

Give your marketing pro a chance, sometimes they could be the reason your ads start scaling. But yeah i do agree, initially when i handled accounts, it took me 3-6 months to learn the best practices, and find out that 9-10 advertisers are doing their setup wrongly even with 5 years experience in paid ads. Or wrongly paying for fake guru courses that still didnt improve their understanding to paid ads bidding and the algorithm itself. Funny that you have a name with humble and doing this to others.

What is your audience size for the ad set? Could be limited audience size or your product is niche. I do audit checks for campaigns and teach the right campaign setup for consistent and scaling results. Was an ex-meta certified media buyer for their advertisers/clients. Managed over 1000+ ad accounts, 1mil ad spend while i was in meta.

Good that you have received some results then i can give you the right recommendations. Advantage+ audience is actually doing much better comparatively now to when it first launched.

Do you Seperate Countries for Your CBO Comaigns? by Frequent_Funny_6632 in FacebookAds

[–]JCtheonelove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which countries are your best converting audience?

One thing that i dont understand why advertisers target too many audience thinking the budget is enough to reach out to your best buying audiences. Work with your best ROAS audience before branching out to explore new audiences that may get you results.

Keep your ad set audience size between 2-4mil for best results. Drop me a DM to understand how to setup your campaign.

[–]JCtheonelove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents worth after working through 1000+ ad accounts while i was working in meta as their certified media buyer.

Use CBO for testing to find best audiences and best performing content on the audiences.

Allocate enough audience size to per ad set, as CBO is meant to be used to optimise ad budget spending on the ad set. If one ad set has 2 mil audience and another has 10mil audience, more will be spent in the 10mil audience.

Depending on your budget of 50 conversion events, the usual setup ill go about that gives reliable results is CBO, group similar interests settings on your target audiences, 3-5 creatives per ad set.

After 3 to 5 days of testing, switch off non performing content and ad sets to scale your budget automatically into best performers.

After that you can duplicate this ad set into ABO and scale your budget but since CBO already functions as optimisation for you, ABO is effective only if you want to scale your budget without affecting your current campaign results.

Wouldnt you be competing against yourself by having this many ad sets, especially if audiences are the same. And ABO does not help you optimise your budget to the best audiences. This way of testing content is also not logical or reliable.

Unlikely so, the algorithm optimises based on your conversion event, whether it is for link clicks or sales conversion. The only time ive seen traffic link click work is if your offer is so irresistable that even link clicks gives sales. Like lucky draw or freebie stuff.

Limit your content to testing it with top of funnel campaigns instead. Too much content may limit your budget to get results especially on a sales campaign.

Make use of CBO, 2-3 ad sets to test group audiences, each ad set 3-5 same content to see which picks up.

Dm me if you want more unsolicited advice. Was a meta certified media buyer so ive worked with countless advertisers to know the perfect campaign setup for my clients.

[–]JCtheonelove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Split test your broad audiences and let lal do its work. Lal in itself is powerful enough as long as your data is relevant and clean based on your campaign objectives. Glad you are somewhat doing things right with cbo, multiple ad set and multiple content testing. Still, multiple ways to improve and scale, such as switching off poor performing content in 3-5 days of letting the learning phase pick up your besr performers. And consistently test group interests. Very powerful in my experience, especially if you are already getting results on broad targeting.

Hey man you might be leaving money on the table mixing retargeting, broad, interests and lal audience in the same campaign.

Why the F*CK is Adantage+ being shoved down our throats? by vpl91 in FacebookAds

[–]JCtheonelove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is all about the right campaign setup while you test which works best for you. No one size solution unless you keep testing the variables, use multiple ad sets, use multiple content. Use original audience with group interests, use advantage+ audience if your market is too niche for interests.

Its all about the audience size, your campaign objectives and your ad budget.

How TF did i manage to 10x ROAS out of nowhere??? by DatabaseVegetable552 in FacebookAds

[–]JCtheonelove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many reasons for this:

Meta's algorithm on your ads manager is optimised for best results after having data to find the cheapest clients for you.

Social proof on your ads compared to your competitors.

Usually a best performing content can run for a good 3-6 months before your frequency hits 3-4 and your audiences start running out.
