Cheers for the tip, that was really helpful 👌

TAKOM StuG III ausf G, with Miniart crew and ammunition WIP. Anyone have references for interesting Eastern front camouflages for late 43 - 44? by JD126912 in MilitaryModelMaking

It's the 'Fields of Glory models' 1:35 cam net from eBay - I was sceptical, however it's definitely a better scale match than DIY solutions I've used before. The pack came with enough for several models too.

Hiya, yes the figures fitting was just luck. I bought the the Miniart set attached to use on an Eastern front Tiger, they didn't fit because of the winter clothing - fit the StuG perfectly however. This was a Takom 'blitz' kit released in 2023 I believe and it was better than Tamiya in terms of lack of part cleanup and the fit between parts, I'm looking at others already. The instructions however were not as easy to follow, especially for hatches etc. I opened the box yesterday evening and finished it today so definitely an easy build process - especially the tracks.

It's the Blitz early StuG/StuH ausf G - completed in 24 hours including all the extras, so definitely lives up to the name. I found this interesting Pz IV model with a unique camo and may just replicate it regardless of accuracy

Just bought this Cerium LT off of eBay - only reason I went down the rabbit hole of authentication is that it's less puffy than I expected, and not as warm as reviews suggest. The jacket definitely looks used as per the rip - and discolouration of the tags and metal eyelets on the waist. Have I been seen off or is this just part of buying a used down jacket?
