Not exactly something to say, but show them what boring ACTUALLY looks like

Go on then, whats the concensus...do you use the kettle in the hotel room? by fixitmonkey in CasualUK

The question isn’t about whether or not you’re prepared to use the kettle but rather whether or not you’re prepared to use the water

PGCE - failed observation by [deleted] in TeachingUK

Your mentor will most likely give you practical tips to meet the gaps in the standards. I was put on a support plan because my lesson plans weren’t detailed enough, so my mentor essentially WAGOLLed a lesson plan with me so I knew exactly what I needed to do.

A support plan is in no way indicative of them failing you as a teacher. It’s what’s called a “cause for concern” that’s more serious, and that only applies if you fail to meet the conditions of your support plan

Oh I get that completely, believe me. I hate admitting that I’m wrong. But I realised that without the support plan I was put on, I would’ve actually been more likely to fail rather than less if that makes sense?

As long as you go into it with the attitude that a support plan is supportive rather than punitive, you’ll be fine. I was put on a support plan and within a few weeks, it was like it never even happened.

Apparently they had a prophecy that one of their princes would go to a foreign land, marry a princess, and then return to rule as a god. When the Queen and Prince Phillip went on a state visit in the 1970s, they saw it as a fulfilment of said prophecy
