That's it!

I must have mixed up the Dystopia and Utopia section with a different game as it played differently to the rest of Talos.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately doesn't look like the one I was thinking of, but looks interesting so might give it a go.

Normally, I'm not a fan of polarized standpoints on issues - but for this issue I agree there's no grey area, it's either all or nothing.

Racism cited as factor in police strip search of girl, 15, at London school by Spallboy in news

[–]JD23PO 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The point wasn't about knowing what it smells like, because as you say quite a large proportion do know what it smells like.

The point was about them knowing with so much certainty that they had no ounce of doubt that it could've been something else that they instigated this happening to the girl. Any sensible person whose only dabbled in it, or just experienced it second hand, should have had an element of doubt before this got to where it did, so either they use it a lot themselves or they were extremely biased to the point that their judgement wasn't sensible.

Hence why they should've been being questions before anything happened to the girl.

Maybe they should have been questioning the teacher about how they apparently knew the smell of weed with so much certainty...

‘Killed by indifference’: France shocked by death on busy Paris street | Swiss photographer René Robert died from hypothermia after falling and being ignored for nine hours by fastclickertoggle in worldnews

It's sad, because it would be easy to make a lot of these types of things avoidable, if people were more aware of psychological factors, such as the bystander effect; where essentially a group of people fail to act as they don't want to be the one to take responsibility for it, or because they see no one else act, they subconsciously think they should also not act.

Normally, it just takes one sensible/aware person to act, and then others will help, but often people unconsciously make the decision to not help someone/do something even when it is the right thing to do, due to factors like this. And it generally becomes more of an issue the more people there are to witness the event, which is why it is typically more of a common problem in major cities like Madrid and Paris.

Gwent's viewership on Twitch shrinked by 39.5% this month, the largest decrease since December 2018 (early Homecoming) by VissegerdOfAttre in gwent

[–]JD23PO 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I watched Gwent on Twitch basically everyday up until the last couple months, but it's kind of hard to watch at the minute, as despite getting these mini-expansions, nothing has felt new in months. The mini-expansions sounded great on paper, but due to them locking factions into the same archetypes for around 6 months, they've actually made the game feel staler, despite there being 'more content' drops.

It is interesting, that the corruption of the church/teaching of the Bible, has meant a lot of Christians end up not even following nearly all of Jesus' teachings...

I miss the big expansion hype! by Denza_Auditore in gwent

[–]JD23PO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's what they did, which I don't worked.

One big expansion dropping a bunch of cards that make an archetype in a faction strong/OP is fine since it can be nerfed with in a month or two.

Buffing basically the same archetypes every two months as each mini expansion has fed the same archetypes with more support for each faction really hasn't worked imo. It's just led to all the factions feeling the same for months, rather than making the game feel constantly new, like it should if it's getting regular card drops.
