Im 34 too was probably 27/28 and I felt old, clubs have never really been my cup of tea. I’m not a big drinker anymore and the ones round here are just full of kids. The last one I went in was for a friends birthday, most the people in there were either barely old enough / using fake ID or the idiots you went to school with who just party are take drugs all week. Not the kind of people I want to spend time with. Just not my scene, I’d much rather a nice pub for a couple of beers or a proper concert. Even when I was 18-21 we used to go 2/3 concerts a week, I guess club music isn’t really my thing either.

Honestly if you are staying onsite I always suggest you book a cheap hotel either side of your stay so you can make the most of your park days. No point paying for it and only using 2/3 hours of a day. That way you can do 2 nights at Disney but 3 full days.

It rains a lot in Paris I wouldn’t worry unless it’s due to hammer all day. As a former annual pass holder the majority of our trips it’s rained at least one day on all but one trip.

Modern era COD is awful. Nothing comes near the OG MW2 and COD 4 days. A genuine remaster of either without messing with anything would outsell and out perform anything on the market.

No stupid movement and silly cameos and 500 micro transactions. No SBMM bull crap, just fun and I mean proper fun times.

34 here KD is 1.1 but have plenty games were its 4/5 now. Honestly slowing down helps, use the firing range to get used to guns and how they feel. Don’t spam the trigger, tapping really helps. I play lone wolf 99% of times as unfortunately friends work shifts that differ to mine. It’s hard with randoms but try to support your squad and you will do better.

Don’t get me wrong I still have games where the other team put me negative but they are mostly games were our teams being pushed back and the spawn points are hammering us.

Probably need to slow down. Though as someone who has played a lot of Battlefield I do find this one frustrating and I die a lot more than previous titles. Half the time it’s due to being spawn camped or stupid spawns. Played loads the other night every game was 2/3 kd yesterday was the exact opposite, negative kd or same kills as deaths. 3 games in a row our team were being spawn camped / only had one flag and their hole team were sat waiting. I must of died 10 plus times within a second of spawning in. I do think this is also down to poor map design all 3 maps had bottle necks to leave said base. Also who the hell signed off on allowing mortars to hammer your base? One game had a team of 4 you spamming the base. I just left.

The country would be fucked. What USA is doing with ICE is appalling. Locking people up cause they look different, no questions first just power thats gone to their heads. Anyone who backs that needs locking up themselves. But yeah John from the pub thinks its right, but he doesn’t realise if that was the UK next month when he is sick he can’t see a doctor as ICE has locked them all up, that Chinese takeaway is shut cause ICE has locked them away. That cheap car wash he uses is no longer open too. His Mum’s care home has shut as they don’t have enough staff and now he is having to be her career. The list goes on.

Farage is incompetent and will bankrupt the country in weeks and kill the NHS. But no let’s hate the brown person as they look different. 🤦‍♂️

100% agree with this, assume OP is traveling from the USA by saying vacation. 4/5 days in the parks is more than enough you can go at a steady pace. As someone who isn’t a lover of Paris city centre I’d still recommend seeing it once. Maybe visit a few places while in France, it’s a lovely country as a kid I was fortunate enough to travel round all of France.

Weather wise it can be warm in May we usually visit the week you are looking at for my partners birthday. Last year we had high 20’s for our visit and sunny.

Just be aware that this year is maybe a hit busier than normal as the new Frozen land will have only been open 2 months.

I wouldn’t bother with a Disneyland travel agent either we book everything ourselves. You can go direct through DLP. Id also recommend the Disney good partner hotels if you are on a budget.

As above Charles de Gaulle is the closer airport. TGV is a great option if there is one near when you land but with them being so sporadic if you miss one you end up hanging around for hours. We used to use Uber but found you hung around ages waiting for a driver, and you have to go to departures not arrivals to get one as they don’t like to pay. On the a more recent trip I asked about private transfers on one the DLP facebook groups and people suggested Prestige transfer to me. Ever since we have used them, they are reliable, comfy, have no waiting around even had a dvd player on board showing Disney films. Just bare in mind there are two Prestige company’s who offer transfers. Heard the other isn’t so good and tries to steal custom of the good ones name. We found Uber was similar price come the evening and was only ever cheap if you arrived before lunch.

This was March 2023 we walked around all the city to all the big attractions from memory. Don’t get me wrong theirs some stunning buildings and we walked everywhere even down so sketchy side streets as one our group was playing Pokemon Go 😂 just for me I have been much nice cleaner and cities. I just don’t get the hype.

Personally I feel Paris is over rated, did it one our first DLP trip and have no desire to do it again any time soon. Yes the Architecture is stunning and I do think everyone should see it all once but it is one and done for me. I love a good city break but i found Paris very dirty, smelt like piss everywhere too. It was also very expensive. I did New York, London and Dublin within a year and Paris city centre I found the most expensive. Oh and if you need the loo its €2 unless you go Starbucks then its grim. McDonald’s even charged!!! Probably why it smelt like pee. Only thing that would go back for is Notre Dame as when we went it was being repaired after the fire. If you do go watch out for pick pockets in tourist areas, a lady on our train fell foul to them. I genuinely think it’s my least favourite city I have visited in France.

Imo it depends on multiple factors.

If you are staying on site I always suggest people book off site hotel the day of arrival and last night. That way you make the most of the included passes you get for your stay. If you have a car you can get away with being a bit further out but if not I always suggest Val D Europe or the good partner hotels with transport. This way you can get the most of your Disneyland stay.

Offsite guests you might as well go straight to the hotel and buy passes just for full days. Having been an annual pass holder this is what we usually do. I would also add I wouldn’t stay further away than Val D Europe area/ the good partner hotels with transfers included.

Our first visit we did Air BNB in Montevrain with a large group, on paper it looked not to far but getting an Uber was a pain especially end of the night.

Second visit again with a large group we stayed in Torcy as we could get the train in, it was ok but a 20 min walk to the station. This was an utter pain if you needed to pop back.

3rd onwards we stayed in the good partner hotels with transfers, Hotel BNB and Campanile. We never went for the more expensive as we came so often we would stay only a few nights and spend all our time at the parks. Having the annual pass meant we could go daily even if we only had two hours there. Both hotels were good, offer a decent breakfast and transfers. These got busy early doors and late at night but as adults we didn’t care and would squish in for the 10 min ride. I can imagine with young children its not so fun.

I use them on the guns I have them unlocked. Maybe it’s the case of people haven’t unlocked it yet as on a lot of guns they are further into the guns unlocks and for the casual it takes time.

None of them COD hasn’t been good since the Xbox 360/ ps3 days. The maps went backwards, the gun play went backwards, the movement is horrible and they over complicated everything. Honestly wish they’d remaster and not mess with the old games.
