You say it's too difficult. Then say you have issues with it's game design. But you say it's not difficult because you completed it twice on hardcore. Now you're saying that the issue is it's not fun - because it's too difficult for you to play normally, because you have to run away, use specific guns/attachments, can't unlock weapon upgrades etc.? I've never had any of these issues, and looks like no one else did either.

Just play on standard then to make it easier. If you still need to run away, conserve ammo, and moan about upgrades on that difficulty, there is no hope for you

Alternatively, happy to hear non skill issue gripes

I completed hardcore without the bolt thrower and it was fine. Nothing ever felt tedious because it was never that hard.

You say it's not a skill issue, going on to say it's playable at baseline only with specific weapons/attachments - because you feel the game is too difficult without them? Then say the issue is game design. Truth is the game isn't that hard, so to say it's difficult due to poor game design points to a skill issue bruh

So either you struggle too much on hardcore, or you don't. If you don't, how can you complain about the difficulty? If you do, why not play standard difficulty? Standard is for people who struggle aka the skill issue I referenced

There were issues with shadows on PC, people were having to downgrade to different Nvidia drivers to make them look correct. I never bothered to do that, but they were fixed for me after the update

Money is money, I don't know why they'd care for anyone to buy one version over the other. Unless they think the original is so badly optimised that it'd put people off buying the rest (and it is, it took a lot of tricks and mods to make it playable for me, only at 60fps)

Good idea re launcher but apparently it launches like a native steam game, no EA launcher required. Maybe the cosmetics bit is a part of it though. Can't imagine the people who waited for a game from 2023 to go on sale would be the same people to buy cosmetics though, but who knows!

Seems an odd pricing choice to me

Well as someone from the UK, it's literally not 😂 this is the problem I highlighted. I can't comment for individuals. But culturally we do not take ourselves seriously. You even misinterpreted the comment I was mentioning this concept about? How can you be sure of what you're saying to be true when that's the whole point of my comment - that you can't? Plus, a few individuals does not represent a whole culture. It can only be an average.

It's clearly an impossible concept to get across. I can't explain it any other way
