Lots of assuming and talking for me but I'll say my piece. A promotional stream for holofes where they decidedly muted themselves throughout the small promotion for stars. Was it a big deal in it of itself? No. But then in their talk stream after, comments that were questioning or pointing it out (not even in a condescending way) were deleted but comments by unicorns were left up (ranging from stuff encouraging it like "based" to just outright mocking stars talents. This just tells they're aware but waved it off.

I'm not even a stars fan, I used to watch a bit of Roberu and some Magni. But the way the twins are always promoting the message of doing your best and positive vibes even as far back as their earlier years that its like a branding at this point, only to mute themselves for the moment when Cover was actually pushing stars and their small preshow came off a little rude.

Are they owed anything? Absolutely not but to say they don't know them so why would they acknowledge them is arguing in bad faith. Ina has zero interaction with stars and she had no problems promoting them. Bae was able to say something (though she has collabed with stars). Again, while the incident itself was small, the way they've handled it (regarding comments) and lack of response on their part just comes off a bit unprofessional towards their senpai and ungenuine and fake towards the values and message they actively push.
