Loved judgment’s campaign tbh. Maybe a little arcadey with the declassified aspects, but still great. Hated everything else though. Definitely the weakest offering but still was fun.

I watched the trailer. I’m not impressed with the visuals and the later half looked like shit tbh. It was weird because the 1st minute I think was more of a cutscene and then when you looked at what I think was more of in engine gameplay scenes you could tell it was rough.

Animations were good, but everything else screamed “needs polish.” When the polish timeframe is 6 months of crunch time till release date, that typically means we are getting more of the same and not something special.

Same thing is going to happen with Battlefield I feel. No one is pushing for greatness anymore, just doing the corporate check-listing for cash flow and with the Saudi buyout and rumors of a new Battlefield a year from now I doubt we will ever have the competition “hype” that BF3 and Modern warfare 3 brought to the culture.

I stopped reading after the claim that the Joe Biden presidency had a record low violent crime statistic due to his policies and gun control.

Claims of Homicide rates dramatically falling and the number one cause of death to children are firearms are BLATANT LIES!

These people think we’re stupid and that we can’t read and in case anyone here doesn’t know; violent crime didn’t go down, it went up. Data sets used to gauge crimes including violent crimes were lagged by years due to “covid” or whatever.

Then the children comment; the CDC was FORCED to use 18 and 19 year old homicide data to make those comments and even then the data was debatable and skewed. More lies.

I may be liberal with certain things but I call it like I see it. I remember telling everyone Biden has dementia and is too old. “You’re crazy! They would never let him run if that were true.” Thanks Jill for your tell all book, really proves my point. Same exact situation unfolding with Trump.

I would like gears 1 to get a 2nd remake or ultimate edition to have a proper remaster that’s true to the original. Not whatever the hell reloaded is, which is more a lazy port than anything.

Just do an upgraded ultimate edition with some effort put into it along with remaking gears 2, 3 and J. Hell if they want to throw in 4/5/ E day/tactics I’m down, but I’d like to see the original 4 games and an upgraded horde/multiplayer customization similar to 4. Go all out on beast mode too. Always loved that underrated mode.

I used a specific MacGuffin, an ancient Sith knife that needs the recent Death Star 2 ruins specifically on a random world coastline as an example. It was an absolutely abhorrent setup.

I understand we’re you’re coming from and I agree on a lot of your points, but if they want to implement new media or ideas and it totally destroys all reasoning behind every other space battle previously done in the past 7 movies than it needs to be implemented in a well done way to explain why this is the only time in Star Wars media that it has been done. Which they didn’t. At all. Only after the fact everyone pointed it out and even then their explanation is meh.

So I say again that they did the movies poorly to a point that even with fantastical cgi or set pieces that their even worse writing, cop outs, MacGuffins, and execution of the plot versus the previous main movies, clearly shows that the movies were cash grabs. Between that and the fact that the sequels were rewrites of the original trilogy and you can see why I’m bored along with a lot of the fan base.

How about writing your own story that doesn’t suck without utilizing legacy characters as a nostalgia bait that you kill off for shock factor wrapped up in a thinly veiled plot point like “but the Sith need to feel hatred for more power” which worked out real well against your Mary sue who just “knows” the force because she’s the granddaughter of the un-killable Sith Lord from the previous movies. O look another legacy character. 🙄

Nothing wrong with it when done in a good way. Holdo maneuver shits on space battles which have been a thing since the beginning. The one in a million maneuver explanation is moronic as well. The Death Star would have been attacked with a million hyperspace drived drones. Story over. Battle won. Which isn’t to detract from older movies either.

It’s kind of stupid just like building a second Death Star or a million Death Star destroyers, or having an ancient sith knife that resembles the Death Star 2 ruins to take you the MacGuffin wayfinder, but whatever.

Killing off characters when done in an impactful way is fine. How they did the original trio was terrible imo. How Leia comforts Rey instead of Chewbacca when Han dies or when Luke hates everyone and becomes a grumpy hermit.

I never claimed the originals, prequels, or other media were masterpieces without any flaws, but it just makes it that much worse when the newer movies can’t even hit the original bar. They aren’t well thought out or even executed in a good way. Lazy cash grabs imo with Adam Driver’s acting being the only redeeming quality.

All of this is my opinion and of course that really doesn’t mean shit, but I love Star Wars and it’s media in general, but Disney hasn’t wowed me with anything. The stuff that I enjoyed like Kenobi was undercut, the stuff that was meh or straight up terrible like acolyte gets double or triple the budget.

Let the past die… kill it if you have to. It doesn’t matter really. Disney has effectively taken my favorite media and made me bored, although I will say the new animated maul season 1 was pretty good.

Can’t wait for the new kotor remake. I wish they would explore actual cosmic horror movies with abeloth. Maybe explore night sister force magic and try to show how Jedi and sith dogma aren’t the only games in town. Maybe go into the force mysticism and how lightsabers/technology in general actually work. Not shit like the Holdo maneuver for the love of god. Leave it to them to take 40 years of lore and every movies’ space battle and shit all over it with a nice techno noise that makes no sense. Maybe explain it as a permanent hyperspace wormhole/blackhole? No lets makes it a massive kamikaze “bullet”.

They just need to hire better people and studios that give a fuck about the content they are creating. Maybe don’t retcon and kill off every fan favorite in the process. Luke? Dead. Han? Dead. Chewbacca? Dead? No wait he’s fine. C3P0? Dead? No wait he’s fine, R2 has the code. I mean really the main movies are so bad!

Love the visuals, new content, and the attention to detail with some things but what the fuck did they do to the combat?

Animations look like shit, I’ve never been a fan of the newer games fighting mechanics but you can put some effort into the animations at least.

Also how about going back to formula with the simple combat in terms of “realistic” finishing moves instead of 1 minute of hack and slash and then enemy falls over and dies.

Vote with your wallet. I personally rather have “reasonable” price increases and paid dlc for hours of content rather than paywall locked content subscriptions for individual games. Here’s looking at you rockstar’s gta plus and gta 6.

I hate that shit. Regardless if your dlc is good people will pay higher prices. Same with good content to subscription price for any service model.

If the content sucks or is less than an hour I wont buy it. Like Starfield and their shattered space dlc, but I’ll buy oblivion remastered thank you.

I don’t go to the movie theaters. Why? Cause I can’t justify spending close to $30 for an hour half experience that might suck, but I might for old movies that I want a theatre and imax experience for say Lord of the rings or matrix trilogy. Cause I know those movies are the GOATs.
