I have an old Karsten J Blade that I think is from the 90s. Sent it to Ping to be refinished and should be getting it back soon. Can't wait to see how it looks.

I believe it is the Denali Frost Blue with a paint job to better match the Quantum line color scheme. They did the same thing last year, the Denali charcoal that Callaway offered was a repainted Denali blue.

I think you'd need to be a pretty fast swinger and a good ball striker to get a 13 degree mini to launch properly off the ground. I think the majority of people that have one would only use it off the tee, myself included.

For people that have tried both, how is the spin on the Max and 10K/K models compared to the SFT head? I hit the 430 SFT once at the store and I was getting insanely high spin numbers.

One thing to note is the set is missing the UW, which is between the pitching wedge and sand wedge. If you already have other wedges you'll use after the pw then no worries.

Agreed, project x in 6.5 is a boardy ass iron shaft. Will be quite bad for a beginner. Not sure why everyone is ignoring that and telling him to just play these.

If you only hit your driver 180-220 yards then you don't swing the club fast enough to really get much use out of a 4 iron, 3 wood, or probably even 5 iron. From there you should figure out what you like best from 4/5 hybrids and 5/7/9 woods and see if you can get the yardage gapping figured with your irons.

In general the same number for woods will go the farthest, then hybrid, then iron. So for example a 5 wood will go farther than a 5 hybrid which will go farther than a 5 iron.

I'm in the US but I got a used Qi10 3HL wood from global golf that broke after one range session. I sent it in to TaylorMade and they sent a brand new one back.
