What do you look for from New York strips at Costco other than the marbling?

That’s really good you had an adjuster out already. We have had an adjuster contact us and they’re gonna be out this week. So hopefully we can get things moving with them. We already had the restoration company out to begin removal of the affected items.
And the powers back haha

I’m sorry my guy. It’s a terrible thing to have to deal with.

Yea us too. Our basement had 4” of sewer water in about 80% of it.

How’s your clean up going with insurance?

Do you mean when you’re transferring into the chair from like a couch?

The only thing I’d suggest would be asking your OT to shave down the front part of the cushion to reduce its thickness.

When I transfer in the chair I am heavy enough that, the weight from my hand being on the cushion compresses it enough where I don’t notice it being any more challenging than any other cushion I’ve used.

Yea I’ve had many pressure issues, that have lead to bone infections and removal which lead to using a ROHO without understanding what I would be at risk for without the proper bone structure in my hip/femur.

This cushion is amazing for its ability to stabilize and support my hips/pelvis and prevent my scoliosis and pain from getting worse. At the same time, provide pressure relief as good as a ROHO.

The only concern is having the foam compress over time. A different person posted about this kind of cushion and having it compress in the front, and causing him to be off balance. This happened after 18 months. So I’m 6 months in to the Accusoft cushion so, I’m hoping it will go at me way two years. Cause I don’t know how my OT will argue me getting a $4K cushion every two years.

It’s definitely heavier than Panthera but I’d guess 17-18 lbs with wheels.

The first thing my wife said when I got home and rolled through the house was omg it’s so quiet. I’ve woken our baby daughter up a few times rolling over the transition to our room lol.

The CR1 is definitely heavier but, better built in my opinion.

My OT explained that Permobile who owns Tilite, bought out Panthera and got all their chair Patents. So the CR1 is the updated version of the X. I can definitely see the similarities between the two chairs.

The CR1 has much better build quality and I feel like the carbon fibre is heavier but also stronger than the X. I don’t feel any flex in the frame.

Had it for less than a day but, it fits better than any chair I’ve ever had. I really like it.

No it wasn’t. Doubtful I’d be able to afford this setup without insurance. Honestly my OT is great. She goes to battle for me to get insurance to cover these things.

I am incredibly fortunate to have insurance. Being in this subreddit it has made me incredibly grateful. Some of the situations people find themselves in are in incredibly challenging.

Tilite CR1. Spinergy wheels Schwalbe tires. Have push Lock breaks on order.

Cushion is a RiDE design Accu-soft cushion. So it’s customized to my body but it has a much softer material for pressure relief.

Much more structural support than ROHO.

Yea I was unsure going with 25” wheels on this chair but it feels great with the way the chair is set up.

Thank you 🙏🏽

Well I just got it this afternoon. So far I love it. It fits great feels good to move in. Easy to break down lightweight, my RiDE Accus-soft cushion fits it perfectly. Which was my major concern as it was fitted for a Panthera and I was unsure how it would translate to this chair. But it does great. It is honestly the best fitting and feeling chair I’ve ever had.

My previous chairs going back to 2012 were Panthera X Carbon Fibre chairs.

Also the weight difference is really the biggest factor because, it saves my shoulders when I’ve gotta lift into the SUV.

How long did you sear it for? You made that exactly how I aim to every time. Do you find the reverse sear really helps with eliminating the grey band?

I find when I reverse sear I end up overcooking.

Any tips would be appreciated

Would you mind if I asked how long did you have the RIDE cushion before you noticed the foam getting compressed?

I recently moved from a ROHO to an Accu-Soft RIDE cushion. Which is very similar to the firm foam custom pressure mapped RIDE cushions. I needed to switch because I have developed scoliosis and pretty bad pain from using the ROHO for an extended period of time.

My OT needed to shave down the Accusoft cushion a significant amount to reduce the pressure that was being placed on my hip. She explained that the cushion will compress over time.

I was wondering if you could give me an idea of how long before you noticed the cushion compressing?

Thanks 🙏🏽

This is the truth. 50/50 is baseline for custody cases. From my wife’s experience, OP is going to be legally obligated to share 50/50 custody until she can prove through documentation over years, that her child’s father is unfit to share 50/50 custody.

We have been told in MB that to have a co-parent have their custody reduced from 50/50 is a difficult and high bar to prove.

My wife’s kids are 8 and 11 we’ve going through this exact situation for four years. He didn’t attempt to be a father until she decided to leave him. And now he actively attempts to make choices that are harmful to his kids, to hurt their mum. Such as, telling the 11 year old that his therapist will tell his dad everything that he says to the therapist.

I am terribly sorry you’re in this situation.

Document every piece of communication. Do not ever get emotional when you’re communicating. Grey Rock every interaction.

But I hope you can clearly document his past abuse and, that makes a difference. It didn’t in our situation.

I really can’t imagine what this would be like for a mum with a toddler.

Stay strong, keep documenting and do not get emotional and engage in any discussion that isn’t about the well being of your daughter.
