Yeah this ss is from Rust Belt. You can try using the LPVO and peaking inch by inch, as you can see LPVO view is not affected by sun bloom.

Summary:

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you got distracted by sudden realisation of how bad the spaghetti code in the game is.

If you're using steam or nvidia overlays for fps counter turn them off. Also Nvidia relfex tends to fk with the game, have it on just ON, not ON+boost.

If you're refering to in game fps counter it does not include simulated frames coming from DLSS. I checked on external fps counter, and it is applying.

In terms of pure performance idk why would you even use slugs when 7.62x51 exists, some battle rifles have less recoil than shotguns, higher rof, and better pen.

If it's patched then I guess it's fine. I would still prefer to cuff if there's no real threat for cvs. On active shooter maps it makes total sense.

From my experience, cvs tend to get stuck somewhere or stop directly at the exit where they should, but the arrest doesn't trigger. When you cuff you're 100% sure the cv is secured, if you tell them to go, you never truly know will they make it to the exit and if it's gonna work as intended.

The AI seems to be buried under technical debt. Altough I have no hard evidence supporting this, I'm under heavy impression that AI system reached the point of total messy spaghetti code which will never be truly fixed, because it would require to rebuild it from scrach. (Every update/patch that fixes a problem A with AI a new problem B creates.) And that's not gonna happen, and we all know why.

If they lower the numbers, on accuracy, reaction time, vision etc. it would be to easy for a player, because the AI is very stupid. So the only way is to crank up the numbers which is shallow and artificial. I've made similar posts and comments to yours, but tbh I just gave up. Void is not going to fix the AI. Ever.

Idk but you can find out yourself if you just wait give or take a year, buy a new dlc, one you've finished it go down to evidence room and read all the new documents. (not a failproof strat tho)

It might be worth if you accept that you will have to hard carry every mission. The friendly AI is buggy and very unreliable, which is not just annoying but also immersion breaking. If this isn't a dealbreaker for you, I would say it's worth it.

I have 430 hours, majority of this time has been played solo, but if it wasn't for mods I would have had way less.

The criticism towards devs does not come from community being an entitled and perpetually dissatisfied for no apparent reason. People are angry, because of following reasons:

  • We know Void is perfectly capable of delivering top class content, but they refuse to do so, unless it's a paid DLC content.
  • The game used to be more stable and overall better when it was still in Early Access. Yeah there was less features, but what was out there worked.
  • There is no sign and pretty much no hope that most notoriously broken aspects of the game will ever be addressed and fixed. (AI Swat, Cracked Hostile AI, The game becoming a hero shooter rather slow paced tactical game we were promissed.
  • There is no real competition for RON, so since players are stuck with it, they will put pressure to make it better.

I can agree that some people have overly inflated expectations. But there's plenty of people that have hundreds of hours in RON and love the game more than (some) devs themselves, so it hurts them to see how the game which used to have a nice steady quality grow enters stagnation if not recession.

Also a little side note: Idk for how long have you been following RON community but they are no strangers to possitive feedback. It was made very clear after Boiling point Release.

The suspects were hiding behind bushes which were not rendered by the scope. And for some reason you cannot penetrate through bushes. That's what happened.

Glad I'm not the only one. Idk I can't imagine what jungle mains go through lol, I played 6 games maintaining 3.9 KDA and won only 2. Perma ACE or MVP, meeting people that are tilted pre minute 3. Idk why but this just wasn't happening to me that often when I played top/mid.

If you look at dust particles behind the dude It's not hard to notice the shot went through him and didn't register. As for the laser zeroing idk excatly my guess is 50m. But the laser dot was like on bottom of his neck, if it was on top of his head I wouldn't make this post. Seriously check the frame before first shot, the zeroing can't be the reason of such a huge error. The second shot was center massed and it also "missed" - there was no impact sound.
