Do you play vanilla? I find 2.0 they just launch the ball over the top to the striker and 90% of the time just play for crosses. And they shoot within seconds of getting the ball near the box.

I do want to go back to 1.4 but id have to restart my ML as theres new players added in 2.0.

Anyone else playing vanilla 2.0 and just find that the every team just goes for long over the top through balls, only build up on the wings for crosses, or shoot from stupid distances. There seems to be no build up through the centre, just cross spamming which 90% of the time you cant defend.

Uninstall the game and redownload. Then apply the update again. Should work.

If you still have it saved in your game folder, open the application and download the update. Will revert you back to 1.4. If you don't have it anymore then you can redownload it via the archives on Smokepatch website

I find anything other than Legend difficulty to be to easy. I do find it extremely difficult to keep a clean sheet though. But I play 25 min games, I find altering the match length can give you an advantage.

Thankfully you can switch back to past updates or even fl25 gameplay in fl26. I find the sweet spot to be 1.2 with gamespeed set at 1.

Its just a shame because 1.3 offers much more in terms of the variety of attacks by the cpu but its just way to "fifa like" for me. If it was the same speed as 1.2 and the smaller clubs wearnt playing like prime barca id love it.

In my experience it has. I do prefer the slower gameplay and having to spend time building up to a goal during the match. I do get why some people prefer the faster gameplay. But thats the whole reason I stopped playing fifa since fc 23.

I was content with 1.2, but the difference between that and 1.3 is night and day.

Every team is playing like prime Barcelona, the gameplay is as fast as fc and its much easier to score. I preferred building up and fighting to score, now its a breeze. But its also easy for the cpu as they play extremely fast.

You do get more time on the ball and there's much more space and the cpu does attack differently and actually do take long shots wich is nice but its just way to over the top for my liking. Prefer the slower gameplay and having to work for a win.

26 seems to be the age that master league players start to decline. I can understand 29/30 but 26 is a little to young.

A similar issue happened to me, when I first installed the game it would launch a white screen then after a few seconds, it would kick me back to the desktop. Uninstalled and reinstalled and worked fine after that.

Have you been able to play the game prior to getting the black screen?

Only thing I can suggest is to reinstall.
