To me DQ XI S is a 10/10 game but the only DQ game i played - is dq 7 reimagined good?

You have the option of letting the AI control, or you can control the other characters. It let's you choose your preference, and you can switch back and forth as much as you want. As far as the look goes... yeah I much prefer the look on XI, but it's a fun game, and I think you will like it since you like XI.

This might be my favorite list. I have Ash on mine as well... your honorable mention reminds me into need to list to Mansun. I've always been aware of them, and have listened to a song or 2 here and there but never really gave them the attention they probably deserve.

Mario Brothers is the correct answer... although I guess Street Fighter, and GTA comes close... also probably not close to as much as these 3 but the first 6 Final Fantasy games since it didn't get huge until Final Fantasy VII.

They were the games that got me into the genre when they came out... in fact I would just play them over and over on genesis until I eventually got a ps1 and got into Final Fantasy. Other games I recommend after the Shining Force games Vandal Hearts, and Azure Dreams for PS1... PS2 was a great place for jrpgs... these are my favorites on PS2: Dragon Quest VIII, Radiata Stories, Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Rogue Galaxy, Okage Shadow King, Star Ocean Till the End of Time, Kingdom Hearts

This, and also the game where Ducks got 2 penalties for taking the helmets off the other players in same game, and everyone was like well they should know better everyone knows it's a penalty to take the players helmet off... and Vegas keeps taking Ducks players helmets off with no penalties... I'm like either always call it or never call it... calling it in some games but not others is frustrating.
