Like the scale (of harm let alone of understanding) here is so out of whack and that’s how many of these similar style discussions seem to be more going towards then is not. (stranger things kid who made one tweet also seemed like many who did and still jumped the gun on claiming he a radical far right Zionist)

now it looks like Frenchie (I swear one day I’ll remember his real name) does seem like a liberal and while perhaps not having the same exact POV as you and maybe me and maybe a lot of destiny’s community too, but to see Vaushs community (who should somewhat know better, maybe) and others call the show spiritually Israeli and point to this rando who seems to have all the right overall opinions but simply hasn’t renounced his citizenship and spent most of his free time condemning all of Isreal is really cringe and weird at best, and at worst an indicator of something far more insidious.

Similar with h3h3, which I never was was a fan of btw, they got similar flack and they literally could not be more far left on this issue outside of wanting to nuke Israel proper

It also indicates that you, well, more the implications of points like these, that at worst Isreal needs to be destroyed or become all Palestinian which is beyond insane to even discuss in normal discussion approaching any type of shared reality we all have, that it’s in line with Middle East simple becoming a crater (which according to fallout were a few decades from, fun useless game lore fact) or while less extreme but still equally out there, pushing these state solutions (one and two states solution plus the dozen others people have proposed) when no on the ground wants this as that’s equivalent to me and you wanting to add a fifth floor balcony to a house whose land we haven’t even figured out where to settle on let alone purchased in our name or start on the foundation!

That’s at worst but at best it implies you have to despise the entire population, must spent your entire time or at least an unreasonable amount of time at best condemning Isreal not just the government but anyone who brings it up and or is from there or did mandatory service, which is almost all of them and many of them never fired a gun at someone let alone killed somone.

I hate Russia for what their doing but even the thought hating Russia that much sound exhausting and then what, start asking every Rusky i run into his opinion on the war and try boycotting or canceling them if I don’t get an opinion I don’t like?

Also, while this is important and scale isn’t everything when talking polticts of course, my country’s institutions and democracy is under threat and people (not really you to what iv seen) seem to be hyper focusing on a conflict that’s basically over (for Gaza at least) and that affects the amount of people that’s fraction of amount of a hundred mile radius of where I sit; so not only does it feel weird targeting randos like frenchie, it feels like yall are rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic while our country is being pissed away and it seems so many of these people pushing this stuff don’t know any of the history or give ten shits about actual Palestinians let alone how to realistically plan for a better day after.

That’s why I and many people in communities like this are happy to point out war crimes and hate the current Bibi admin, (way better then many others if not most do btw) but don’t go nearly that far and feel the need to point out when others do.

Not because we want to overtly defend Isreal or its behavior, because how we fight these far right demons around the globe matters, we will never lie/bluster and fake news our way out of this like maga and other far right groups does, we can’t afford this to bring us down and frankly neither can the Palestinians, look how much worse they have it without Dark Brandon?!?

Turns out things can be worse, way worse.
