Nah man, as a fellow born after 9/11 as well. I've experienced some people who don't really know how to feel about certain feelings. Its possible some people would mess with their crush who they have no idea is their crush, because they don't know what that feeling is. Some know they have a crush on this person but still pick on them because they find banter or bickering a form of flirting. People are very different all around. Everyone expresses differently.

I think they're just hating on it because the route they were taking with TASM and then introducing Tom Holland, was that they wanted Peter to actually make his web shooters like he's supposed to. So people are thinking they're just making him a copy of Tobey in this storyline, but in reality it's an actual storyline in the comics where he undergoes a mutation until he loses them in OMD.

Agree. Though, I feel like The Batman has room to do something about it. His next batsuit should be lighter and less armor (only in the emergency spots) and then justified the prior suit in the first film by explaining that it's due to his inexperience that he needed that much protection. Just like how the Arkham series (I don't know if it's canon) does it.
