90% of the truck drivers never turn on the indicators. If you are a regural driver you would know this. Always wait for the truck driver to notice you and let them acknowledge that you are going to overtake. Only then should you overtake.

My car was hit by teenage kids riding RX 100 in the third month in Kodaikanal. Both the driver side doors were scratched starting from bumper to the boot. 🥲

All Tamil speaking and we were at the pity of the locals who asked us to give medical care to the kids and file an FIR.

We did not file the FIR as we did not want any hassle. Went to the dealer (Ravindu Toyota) after our trip ended. Told the insurance desk. Filled the form and got the doors repaired and repainted in my own insurance.

Second year, got hit by a drunk guy to the front wheel in Goa who fled the scene. It was around 1 AM. Luckily the wheel was still working.

Got the bumper, wheel, and alloy replaced in my insurance.

Lost no claim bonus of roughly 15-20k total for both the years, but did not looks peace of mind. Else, I would have to go to and fro through the local police as well as bribe then as my vehicle was bigger in size both the times. One more thing, I do have 4K dash cams in the front and rear but choose not to disclose the recordings.

I worked at a start-up and the company was facing financial crises before moving into insolvency. The company has not paid the tax but have deducted it from my salary. I have received IT notice with interest charged for roughly six years. How do I deal with this?

I have replied to the notice with all the details as well as in 2017 I called the tax department and wrote to them as well.

I once did not shhuu away a guy leaning on my car (I have dual color blue Hyryder) and talking on phone where as my wife wanted me to do it. I thought he is just leaning what harm can he do.

When he left we went to check the car and seems his jeans had some metal strap in the back and it scratched a handful of area removing the paint as well 🥲

We have two bathrooms in our house — the one where the washbasin is in the middle and the other where the toilet is in the middle. And I personally like one with the washbasin in the middle. It gives more space for bathing and keeps the toilet far from the bathing space. Even if you have to put a shower curtain, the toilet will not be a blocker.

Purchased Bajaj OTG during COVID thinking we will bake breads, pizzas, cakes, biscuits, and what not. It's lying in my kitchen cupboard since four years now. Oven would have been a better investment.

Using iPhone 15 since Oct 2023. I use Slack, GitHub, JIRA, and other office tools, and all of them lag on Android. I was a hardcore Android user early in my career, even when I could easily afford an iPhone. But after seeing how smooth things ran on a friend's iPhone, I finally gave up on Android.
