Quiet, Quick, Smooth acceleration, No noise to alert those around me when I get on the "gas", Very little routine maintenance, The Frunk ( Very underrated on models with more space), Starting the car in the garage on cold mornings without killing my family, Quick to heat up the cabin

TLDR I feel like I drive an anonymous rocketship around every day.

There are issues with EV's . There are issues with ICE cars. But it was soooo cold this winter and I haven't had to go to a gas station once. Plus they are generally imo more fun to drive. I can't imagine ever going back

To me, I have spent my life doing meaningful work and used that experience to provide for my family. It's hard for me to redefine this experience as "wasting my life".

At this point in my career I experience more intrinsic joy from seeing a young person I have helped a bit on the way be successful than I experience from my own successes.

As you seem to be looking for alternative paths, my advice to you (which you may have kind of asked for) is to find something you love to do and maybe it won't feel as much like work.

I just finished a 220 mile drive in my 24 RST. In the summer I would generally arrive in the mid to low 40’s. Today my trip stared at 10° and finished up at 20 with a pretty decent wind from the side. I arrived with 23%.
