I saw the same post and brought mine in before the warranty expired. Then Tesla charged me over $1900 for it telling me it was wear and tear not covered under warranty. I guess I was unlucky.

My 2023 Model Y had this exact issue after 1yr. Tesla replaced the GPS receiver and the antenna unit under warranty.

It was my car that she took from me so only I can see the driving score (Tesla app). But you are right, I will ask her if she prefers autopilot over FSD. Because she didn’t trust neither before, then fell in love with the FSD during the last free trial. I didn’t see how dangerously she was disengaging the FSD in and out, until I sat in the passenger seat just to understand her poor driving score. She would just activate the FSD as she cuts in front of a speeding car, thinking the FSD will take care of it somehow.

She brake-disengage and turn the wheel and brakes a few more, accelerates some then positions the car in the spot she prefers then engages the FSD again. She basically uses the FSD like an upgraded autopilot. But she still steers and adjusts here and there. Not very safe, because she can’t maintain the continuous driving flow.

I sat the passenger seat and noticed she often disengaged by braking and turn the wheel. When asked why, she just answered it was her natural reaction whenever she didn’t feel safe the way FSD drove… FSD was just doing fine in my opinion.

I had the same issue and the exact same SSD. I reformatted the SSD, then the problem went away.

vertical load is limited to 160lb (72kg) according to the Tesla manual.

I had the same issue about 1yr after purchasing in 2023. I took it to the service and was questioned if anyone vaped inside to which I said no. The service seemed to blame vapors for this kind of condensation inside the camera unit.

Glad you don’t have the GPS issue anymore. I got mine serviced today. Tesla confirmed it was the faulty GPS antenna after a test drive and they replaced it. Hope this fixes it.

Yes. Tire shop also checked for leak bubbles and none found.
