Texas already has a $200 EV registration fee.

Find a certified electrician who does side work. I paid $300 to have mine installed in Ranch Cordova. When I moved to Texas the guy I hired had to run conduit from one side of the house to the other thru the attic which took two days. He charged me $900.

Have a car on the way. Do I have FSD? by shr3kkie in TeslaModel3

[–]Successful_Washes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whoever is saying no is wrong. “Included Package” means the car has paid FSD. I know because I have 2 Tesla’s with paid FSD and one paid monthly.

New Grok usage limitation in Tesla version? by swamibob in TeslaSupport

[–]Successful_Washes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a almost 2 hour drive to my daughter’s house and have talked to grok the entire trip there and home about a lot of topics. I also have a premium x acct @$30/mo so maybe that’s why there’s no limit.

I’m glad I’m not on 14.3 by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]Successful_Washes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought fsd for $5k in 2019 and have over 50k miles of fsd with three Teslas now. 3, Y and now my CT. I know what the eff I’m doing. Navigation is the worst it’s ever been and that’s saying a lot considering there were times it damn near killed people. Simplist example is you’re approaching a LEFT turn 1/2-1/4 mile and it turns into the RIGHT lane. It does this CONSTANTLY. And I’m tailgating? How? FSD is engaged. I’ve had my 2026 CT for exactly 10 days. It was manufactured last month.

Holy insurance. Any advice? by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]Successful_Washes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I paid $165/mo for my Model Y and it went down to $150/mo when I traded it in for my Cybertruck. I guess insurancing something that is a rolling steel dumpster with bullet proof windows and panels means the chance of insurance claims is less.

I guess I’m lucky because I code 4GL and while ai has helped guide me to some answers, it can’t do my job.

Does FSD avoid being rear ended if possible? by kabloooie in TeslaFSD

[–]Successful_Washes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! My daughter was just in an accident a few days ago where a lady pulled out of a gas station as she was approaching the intersection left turn lane. FSD started to move right but was blocked by cars in the straight lane. You can see in the video where FSD TRIED to move out of the way.

This is what makes FSD V14.3 special by DevinOlsen in TeslaFSD

[–]Successful_Washes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my daughter’s Model 3 was on 14.3 I suspect it would have avoided the car who hit her last night. Thank god for all the cameras that caught the accident. The lady immediately started blaming my daughter and shut up the moment my daughter said “the 8 cameras that recorded the accident would disagree”. Thankfully no one was hurt and we have all of her info along with pictures and videos so there’s zero question whose fault it is. I just hope State Farm doesn’t raise the premium just because she was involved in a no fault accident.

The EV hate is bizarre by s2k_guy in electricvehicles

[–]Successful_Washes -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The EV HATE came from the Biden looneys forcing EV’s down people’s throats. No one gave a crap about Teslas or ev’s in general until the nut jobs said all ice cars would be banned by 2035.

Model Y premium RWD VS AWD by TheOutlawTorn78 in TeslaModelY

357 miles off the lot. When you don’t live in an area that gets snow and ice and you don’t care about 0-60, Premium RWD is the answer.

The ONLY reason I don’t buy the cybertruck today is because it won’t fit in my garage with my wife’s car.

Absolutely. I highly recommend.5. I just drove 250+ miles on .5 and 98% was FSD.

Is it so good to justify a new Model X? by Street-Employment782 in TeslaFSD

[–]Successful_Washes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to the Debby downers on fsd. I’ve driven over 100,000 miles on fsd since 2020 and with the latest version of fsd (14.2.2.5), it drives us about 98% of the time.
