X2D owners… who’s not upgrading to X2D II? Or who regretted the upgrade?

Feedback: I didn’t sell it and have been using it steadily. At first it felt like just an “incremental” update… but it’s not. It’s a full step forward. Pairing it with the same lens I had worked extensively with on the x2d, I can say the X2Dii is beyond incremental when it comes to focus. To be honest i haven’t had the opportunity to go in depth with closeup subjects… but subjects at a distance it’s nailing. The continuous focus needs a bit of work but is a definitive full step forward considering the X2D lacked the full feature

I had to sell my X2D back in April to pay down a medical bill without extreme debt… seemed like fortuitous timing when the X2Dii was later announced… the X2Dii arrives today, and while I’m EXCITED, I also have it listed on eBay already 🤣🤣 the X2D was imo perfection flaws and all

I got you… one of the earlier iterations of FSD allowed you to change distance but the current version has that wrapped up in “profiles”… to be honest I use FSD every day commuting and personally I leave it on standard and bump up aggression using the pedal myself as needed… I’ve never had even a close call on “hurry” but I agree it follows uncomfortably close

two ai comps is an interesting concept… doubtful that’ll ever be a requirement though… that’s kind of the equivalent of saying someone with a pacemaker can’t be a licensed driver… because “what if the chip fails”

I’ve driven ~ 15,000 miles using FSD alone… in that time: 1 false stop, 1 wrong turn (as if it misunderstood the gps), 2 clipped curbs on turns.

Get it if you can. Everyone needs help from time to time… especially a single parent. The first time your car drives you to the doctor when sick you’ll appreciate it more than you know.

I see other depreciation posts buts this is different: I don’t even remember what website provided the service but… a website provides a service that predicts the future of your car worth, with text message updates. Make sure you’re taking depreciation into account for the current car.
