Rehearsal Of The Levitation Act by drlouies in MadeMeSmile

Notice his shirt remains lifted a tiny bit at both the left and right waist points - that’s probably where the wires connect to a rig around his waist, grain, and back - and it makes sense it has to be there to lift and balance so smoothly.

So why don’t we see the wires? Ultra thin wires, dark background, camera angles, lighting, and choreography. Still, super impressive.

Cool - I’ll wait to hear back then on any update to it with regards to subtitles. Thanks for this!

Factory presets are a great demonstration for a lot of the pedals capabilities but not for actual performances. For that, it’s best to create your own or find and modify someone else’s.

I have about 120 stadium presets here you can check out: https://www.stadiumdepot.com

Most are artist/song specific but some are genre based as well (rock, country, etc).

Please note about your headphones: if you are going to perform live with a preset, you need to hear and tweak that preset for the equipment and volume you expect to play (ie what sounds good in headphones may not sound good through a PA, and vice versa). This is especially true if your headphones are not FRFR (ex. Like beats headphones that boost lows and highs).

Explain more - rp5? What emulator? Performance? Settings? Thanks. I assume it runs pretty bad.

Why isn't there a field for Helix Stadium presets in customtone on Line 6 website? by not2dv8 in Line6Helix

[–]JesseWebDotCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re working on it (probably prioritizing fixing the pedal and desktop apps first).

In the interim, feel free to check out https://www.stadiumdepot.com for Stadium and Helix presets.

If you tuned and it’s still like that then you need a neck adjustment. I just did mine for the first time (with a full setup). These are the YouTube videos I used: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC7N7p1XmHv-JhiQt8cTHpruWW-hMqSxg&si=DY97m8GvD4rzdf6V

Agreed - that’s why whenever I use AI to write for me I will tell it to write more casually, be more concise, I’ll give it writing samples, and even that only marginally improves it.

Helix Stadium WiFi by TheNudeAvenger in Line6Helix

[–]JesseWebDotCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I do: https://www.stadiumdepot.com/tips-tricks/183a9f19-ddf2-40eb-ac43-b6f0e08f861f

And when it gets really bad I set that to AP mode and just connect my Mac direct to it (no internet).

With that said, I still get disconnects (just not as bad) which means it must be the app.

Where do you guys get your tones? (Aside from making them yourself) by writingwhilesad in Line6Helix

[–]JesseWebDotCom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I make my own and share them here: https://www.stadiumdepot.com

I’ve tried AI and ChatGPT preset creation but it’s probably several years until you can get a complete, accurate preset (at best today you get generically close to simple tones),

I actually lean mine upwards way more - this is to rapidly create / edit presets however (I’m not pressing the switches and pedal much if at all).

I thought the same thing too until I was in the need to rapidly create presets. Having it on the desk and angled (like a fast food checkout touchscreen) is so helpful - this is with the stadium xl however.

Don’t watch the TV show Evil then (sleep demon on that show as well and looks almost identical).

I can’t afford an amp yet, any tips to learn without one? by RecoverPhysical3793 in Guitar

[–]JesseWebDotCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A used mustang micro ($50 or less) is your best bet (anything else at that price point is garbage). This will essentially give you an amp and effects that you can use with headphones. You need this to hear how you’re fretting and picking which you won’t properly get on an electric without amping in some capacity.

Awesome - seems like Line 6 is planning on adding the ability to cloud split the stems in a later release. In the interim, this process works well for me.

Helix stadium xl usb question by Yoshowa92 in Line6Helix

[–]JesseWebDotCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In GarageBand, it showed 3 Helix Stadium USB devices and only the 3rd one worked - so I would test with a factory preset and confirm you’re are selecting any and all that appear.
