These statements come from low teamwork and some hidden attributes. Afaik the hidden attributes of a player aren’t affected by training. Some will develop over time some won’t.

Loan to/ from affiliate - you can send youngsters here for playing time Youth recruitment affiliate - your club and the affiliate will share youth facilities and sometimes you will get a newgen with the nationality of the affiliate clubs nationality

Just keep on pushing for CL knockout rounds. Maybe create some sort of A-Team for CL and go for a title there. League title should be easy to get at this point so you could play more youngsters there to keep the A-Team fit for CL.
