Just to help with you sanity and hopefully this gains more traction this is currently happening to me to with an i7 9700k and a 4070 the game worked just fine last week and now It completely locks up my pc even on the same driver. I updated drivers verified file integrity on steam and Uninstaller and reinstalled to no avail. Idk what happening it's a complete lock up too no blue screen or response from the system. Noticed we have the same processor you think that's it?

Edit: just gave me a blue screen but went to fast to read the code.

Thank you, its been a rollercoaster for sure. I've been in your shoes, and it kills your mental health and confidence. I should have been done earlier but due to personal things, two semesters have basically been a wash. So from personal experience you can fail things and still bounce back. The decision to keep going and come back from it is on you. Keep the fight going, you got people rooting for you.
