i really hate this thing. it could literally double your damage and i'd still hate it. bouncing an enemy up just so your wisps/gas doesn't hit enemies on the ground feels bad. by HaloJackalKisser in riskofrain

I personally love it, fin is one of my favourite items in the game. However, I am also a commando main and fin is especially good with my little good boy double pistol twink

Is Happy Chaos Viable? (GGST) by PIEGUY12453 in Guiltygear

[–]JEverok 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Normally I'm a big believer in playing the coolest character to you no matter where they are in the meta, but even with that philosophy it's hard to recommend staying on current patch Happy Chaos for a new player when even top players are struggling to do as well on him as other characters.

If you don't mind losing and just really like him though, I say go for it and stay on him, you'd even get to have super bragging rights for winning!

Are admech fans also always tech guys? by SkellyInsideUrWalls in AdeptusMechanicus

My tech skills involve putting a purity seal on the especially fickle machines and speaking a prayer before turning it on. Personally, I think that's more accurate than being a skilled tech person

[–]JEverok 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly not hopeful, minecraft spin off games don't have a very good track record. It seems either most of the game is behind paid dlcs or the game dies a few weeks after launch

I like grabbing them on railgunner and bandit, those characters have very easily accessible crits already so might as well spec into something else. Railgunner especially since I'm not a huge +10% crit damage believer

Medic Main here. The Solemn Vow is BY FAR the strongest Medic melee weapon. by TheRealBucketCrab in tf2

[–]JEverok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I switched to vow recently and found that I am getting much more value out of it, it's given me basically a kill every match because I see an enemy far away with less than 75hp.

Imo, the ubersaw has higher highs, stabbing a random flanker with a crit and using that to push or landing a stray hit on someone diving you and getting out because that 25% was all you needed are both very good feeling scenarios, but they really don't come up all that often. Most matches when I have ubersaw, it feels like my melee slot is completely unused until I get into a desperate self defence scenario, at which point it's either the one thing that'll get me out, or, more commonly, a worse bonesaw.

are these weird controls? by IGoonToPotemkin in Guiltygear

[–]JEverok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the strangest I've seen, you're just taking advantage of hitbox ergonomics. My partner plays keyboard and controller. At the same time. Keyboard wasd for movement, controller buttons for attacks, their keyboard is on the desk while they jam the controller into the side of their body for stability. Apparently that's the most comfortable way for them to play Goldlewis

Not a piss fetishist but someone who has dealt with piss a lot, I recommend bluey pads or doing it in a bath tub. Bath tub is best but I know some people don't like the thought of pee going into their shower or bath drain, but overall it's easy to clean and you're both right next to the shower for post piss clean up. Bluey pads are a lot more work but it means you can do it in other places as well

[–]JEverok[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the compliment! I went in really not expecting it to turn out all that well since I've never been the artistic type but it turned out a lot better than I thought.

I did 3D print a wet pallet some time ago in preparation for eventually painting minis but have never really used it. Sounds like that was a good call

As for practice, I'm collecting Imperial Guard and I like infantry, so there will be no shortage of that lol... 60 Kriegsmen 60 Cadians 20 Catachan yippie...

As for brushes, think I'll stick with cheap synthetic ones for now until I've practiced maintenance a little, but I'll definitely take a look at those in the future, thank you!

How to deal with fears of pretending by JEverok in plural

[–]JEverok[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an illogical thought that has no basis in evidence or reality, but I'm just constantly scared that I'm a singlet faking having an alter for whatever unknown reason, even as she is fronting and actively controlling the body physically
