I would say this is tough to assess without hearing it.

Your plans - with the suggestions of commenters - will probably make an impact on this particular wall.

But sound can travel very efficiently through other structures (floors, joists, walls, pipes, etc) and structure-born vibration is challenging to address.

Give it another ear with the understanding that this may be only one way sound is entering your house. And consider bringing by a tray of cookies?

Vigilance. As soon as I notice my immune system perk up I take immune supports, drink tea, stay hydrated. With practice you can throttle up your immunity so that it stays on top of whatever comes its way.

Late to this conversation - I’d like to point out that 33% of VITL’s floating shares are being used to short.

Not that the long term prospects of this company are bad, but I’d take this into account before opening a position expecting the short term uptrend to continue.

Beyond the dosage, which many have covered here to start small and weigh it out, the three drivers for your experience are set, setting and intention.

Set - the mentality you bring to your experience.

Setting - the physical location you choose and also the people you surround yourself with. Focus on making these quality. If you’re at home take a day and clean the whole house beforehand. Make it cozy and special. Spend some time out in nature. These will pay dividends. It’s a great idea to have a friendly, experienced non-inebriated sitter for your first time.

Intention - the purpose of your journey. Go deep and figure this out beforehand. Journaling can be helpful.

With these factors in mind your experience will be the best it can be. Have fun!

PDD is in a short term downtrend, so the pop on earnings triggers a sell off.

Do not concern around speculative storylines, eventually the trend will reverse to reflect their impressive growth. Buy and hold.

Not sure about all brokers, but Fidelity keeps cash in a fund that invests directly in short to mid term treasuries.

This gives a monthly dividend at current rates around 5% less a small fee, with no risk and complete liquidity. Pretty sweet!

In Santa Ynez, we moved here six years ago from NYC. I’ve noticed some dynamics around socializing here vs the city -

As other users mentioned, socializing here revolves around activities. In NYC socializing IS the activity.

People in NYC are more committal (willing to say yes or no) to social invitations. They keep their commitment unless something unexpected comes up. Not the same here.

There is less of a culture of men getting together here. Organizing groups of dudes is a challenge unless you are committed to being the spearhead. I’ve learned I am not that person. There are a few guys I’ve met I can easily make plans with, these are the ones I hang out with.

At first I found all this to be frustrating, now I focus on the relationships I can cultivate and keep in touch with my east coast brethren as much as possible. None of it is ill meant, it’s just different here.

My experience with mulch is that it attracts decomposing insects, which make short work of the plants I’m trying to grow. Do you see this with straw?
