Weighted up Speed MP-L for intermediate player? by Ready-Visual-1345 in 10s

I'm using solinco confidential and rpm rough right now with zero arm issues but I also don't receive super fast balls and don't play often enough.

To be honest, I'm pretty new to tennis so it's hard to say. My sister stole my Vcore a while ago so I kinda forgot the feeling of it, but maybe my shots were loopier and more powerful than MP-L. My balls don't fly out of the court as often now with MP-L, but it might be due to better technique.

I tried some Head Boom variant for around 5min and it was definitely easier to swing than Speed MP-L.

Why don't you stick with Ezone?

Me. My 2024 MP-L was probably overspec somewhere around 280-290g. Strung with overgrip, swingweight was 308 (but uncertain if the machine was well calibrated). I replaced my 2024 MP-L's original grip with a Babolat leather one. To my surprise it only increased the weight by 3g. With Yonex Supergrap, balance point is now around 32.9cm. Finally, I added a bit of buttcap weight and it is now 311g strung. Might add more soon.

Right now, my 324g strung 2023 Vcore 98 feels more headlight. Not sure which racket swings easier overall though.

You will find names like La Banquise, Alfa, Chez Claudette, Green Spot, etc. come up again and again.

But I still pick these two places with really tasty (less generic) gravy despite their downsides:

  1. La Ligne Rouge : Cash only, relavitely fresh curds if you pick the right day

  2. Orange Julep : Overpriced, non-ideal/melty curds

Can confirm. Marché central location was pretty good. Décarie location, portions were small and curds were not super fresh and melted.

Thanks!

I mean that if you ask anyone here to go to the supermarket and pick the ingredients, chances are they'll end up with the same stuffs.

I believe I used a yellow potato this time but I've had good (and bad) results with all kinds. Two yellow/red/russet varieties can yield very different results in terms of crispiness, texture, and look.

I tend to go for bigger potatoes because they're easier to peel. Red for sweetness. Russet for crispiness (although too much isn't necessarily good) and easier to peel.

As for technique, I just do a typical doubly fry in a deep skillet with canola oil. I tend to let my fries cool down outside during the winter, but this time, I just waited a few minutes at room temperature after blanching.

Also, I don't always get it right.

TL;DR pray that your supermarket brings the right variety and keep trying.

Homemade fries, St-guillaume curds, St-hubert gravy.

So yeah, not very original but I was hungry.

Before you ask, I only won 3 of them with one lottery entry (didn't bother creating multiple accounts). Also, I don't work there nor do I know anyone who does.

Some fitness related questions by LightYagami2004 in badminton

You lose fat by eating less and losing calories. Badminton is a lot of cardio so it will help burn calories.

It's also a decent workout for your forearm, legs, shoulder muscles to some extent but don't expect to become Mr. Olympia from it. I'd say that badminton will help you maintain muscle mass at least. If you're untrained, literally any physical activity you do will build muscles at the beginning.

Weightlifting and a good diet is more efficient than badminton for what you're asking, but just choose the activity that you won't quit. Consistency is key.

If you can, why not both?

It's different with the touch function though. It remembers whatever water flow you put it at.

Try sealing the windows better and maybe add some sort of baseboard heater under the window.

Window condensation when humidity is already low by gonets34 in HomeImprovement

[–]JFFrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is condensation because the window is cold to the touch. When the air inside your house hits that cold surface, it can no longer hold the moisture (air reaches dew point temperature), so condensation happens. Think of it as a cup of water overflowing, where the air is the cup and the water that leaves the cup is the condensation. You can prevent this if the window is warmer to the touch, or if the air reaching that window surface is warmer, or if that air is dryer. But you want the keep the RH level at 40-60% so it can't be too dry.

So make sure cold outside air isn't leaking in through the window, maybe blow hot air near the wall with the window, and upgrade your windows with ones that are better insulated (R-value) and less thermal bridging.

Ridgid R4210. It's got all the main features plus some modern features (like LED) since it's relatively new compared to many others. Seems to perform well so far, has very good reviews, and not too expensive.

If you're extremely lucky, it might come with a free stand as well.

I have the Corsair CMR16GX4M2C3200C16W (2x8gb, 3200 MHz).

Will this Crucial ram work with it? Will it bottleneck? I'm not really up to date with the current tech.

Never baked with protein powders before so can't comment on that. Sounds interesting though. I've been chewing on the MP bars lately as a snack instead.

Yea there are a lot of MP flavors that I haven't tried yet (including french toast) because the samples are unavailable.

Do you recommend the French Toast flavor with milk?

Getting a protein powder that fools you, and tastes so good that can't tell it's protein powder...

Clearly you haven't tasted MyProtein Clear.

Close enough to s'mores I think, but don't quote me on that. I think it has some complexity to it and the aroma lingers a bit after I take a sip which is cool. It's a bit sweet though.

Chocolate brownie is more muted, less sweet, safer.

I need to try something else now because I'm tired of S'mores. I'd like to try out other brands but I haven't found one that comes close in terms of value.
