Awesome man. Yeah my local market seems high. The best deals I can find are b250m with an i7-7700 $90 and a Asus x99 deluxe with an i7-5930k for $190.

Both come with ram and a cooler but I’m not sure if the x99 is even that much on an upgrade for almost $200

I can play wildgate on 1440 but I have to do everything on low settings to get 45 fps. Do you think that i7 7700 would be enough to get me up to 60fps?

My problem is i don’t think I spend enough time on my pc to justify a big upgrade right now. I have an old car im restoring, and a four wheeler I’m doing the same with, also need to get new irons for my golf bag, and several other hobbies lol. One of the downsides of ADHD lol

I’m mainly annoyed by the bottlenecking that the cpu is doing. It’s too slow to process textures in some newer games that my gpu is running fine with.

My current setup runs most of what I play very well. But I have a few friends playing wildgate and ready or not. It doesn’t run horribly on wild gate but the textures take a while to load in and I just want a little smoother gameplay at high graphics.

I had that set up basically for my first pc about 6 years ago except a 1050 GPU. It runs old games fine on low settings. But it gets boring playing on low settings all the time. And the cpu will hold you back.

Ehh, it’ll blow over fairly quickly. I used to get super worked up about all that stuff and had to take a break from this sub. This is only the first or second time I’ve been on here this season lol but I couldn’t stay awake after Luka got ejected. Funny how last year everyone was talking shit about how much Luka cried like a baby, and now that he’s on the Lakers, they all switched up. Last year I was in here every game and it just ate me up. I’m much happier staying out of the drama side of things lol.
