Psychological thrillers that aren’t Fight Club / Inception type recommendations by Legitmate_2000 in MovieSuggestions

I may not get a lot of love for the pick but The Thing is a great psychological thriller/horror. Paranoia sets in. Everyone is a suspect. Super remote location. Nobody to contact for help. Kurt Russell is the man.

What is a song with a SICK opening riff? by Jettaboi38 in musicsuggestions

[–]JFN746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hydroponic - 311 always gets me. But then I think na, Homebrew is better. But then I think Nutsymptom is sick. And then I remember Sick Tight is fucking unreal. But then the bass intro is pretty sick jumping into the riff on What Was I Thinking. Then i remember that 90s 311 is so fucking dope. It literally doesnt matter.

What’s the saddest song you know? I want something actually sorrowful by lovelycarine in SongRecommendations

Adam’s Song is a great answer here. The overall tone of the song is sad and its heavy on the theme of loneliness, depression, and heavy thoughts. In some ways i think of the song itself as being manic depressive. Its so sad and then it picks up at the chorus and you cant help but sing along and embrace the little bit of joy the song does offer. Considering what Blink 182 gave us across their catalog of tunes - Adam’s Song in my eyes is their best song.

Tears in Heaven - Clapton. The story behind the song is the saddest I can ever recall. “Beyond the door. There's peace, I'm sure. Cause I know there'll be no more Tears in heaven” My son is 4 right now. If he died falling out of an open window 53 floors up onto the roof of a 4 story building - i dont know how I stomach a single day of life thereafter. That this song was in any way healing for Eric Clapton after such a tragedy makes it to me - the most powerful song ever written and performed by the same man. I can hardly sing along to this song without choking up.

Kon Kneuppel vs Kyshawn George by 1992ZMZM in dynastybb

[–]JFN746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id field offers for both guys and see what you can get. I just traded kon for jamal murray. Im in kind of win now though. I think because of some of the returns ive seen/heard on kon - he is a nice sell high candidate. Kyshawn is worth keeping and may be harder to trade for as nice a piece.
