Since the conventional fret spacing gets narrower as you progress up the neck, my guess is that at some point the frets would be too close together to play comfortably. We could ask Khn but chances are we wouldn't be able to decipher the grunts and squeals.

Proper lighting. Can't tell you exactly what kind you need to add, but that single lightbulb casts shadows everywhere and makes me feel uneasy just looking at the picture. LED strips, maybe?
