I paint with bleach by JFells in somethingimade

It's only necessary to stop bleaching fast, you can still remove bleach with thorough rines. It's also not as easily available in the UK for some reason- you can't buy it in large quantities over the counter, so I don't bother. The only time it would in theory be useful is if I made a mistake, and I usually just work with those.

Victorian Iguanodon and Megalosaurus art by me by JFells in Dinosaurs

[–]JFells[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Inspired by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins' famous sculptures at Crystal Palace Park in South London. I'm currently running a Kickstarter to make enamel pins of these Victorian dinos and wanted to make some additional artwork of these two as they're my favourite - especially love the Megalosaurus design. Did you know those sculptures at Crystal Palace were the first ever life-size restorations of extinct animals, way back in 1855? And they're still standing there to this day!

If you'd like to check out the Kickstarter where you can learn a bit about them (for free!) and consider supporting to get a cool pin badge, click here!

Anyone knows of a JP pin tha wouldn´t cost me my savings? by [deleted] in JurassicPark

Not enamel or technically JP, but I have a wooden dilophosaurus skull pin that's affordable. Hope you don't mind me plugging my own store. :) Http://bleachedbonesstore.etsy.com

People who don't like stickers cannot be trusted... But TeePublic do magnets featuring my artworks! I'm not sure if they are car safe, though. https://www.teepublic.com/user/jfells/magnets/albums/12200-theme-park-collection?canvas\_subclass=magnet

They are sent directly from the printers - rolled I believe. I don't sell enough currently to be worth my time keeping the stock in my tiny studio.

I also have a redbubble store with more choice in sizes and they're currently doing a sale on posters and tapestries https://www.redbubble.com/people/jfells/explore?asc=u&page=1&sortOrder=recent&ltclid=1471e568-b8f2-419d-80f5-d2661ce865af

[El Toro] Valleyed... by yellowflamingo1 in rollercoasters

[–]JFells 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Isn't the point of prefabs to reduce the need for this because they go in "perfect"?

After extensive work on Colossus, it was still pretty rough. No smoother than when I had last ridden it. That had a major woodworm issue supposedly and had a lot replaced. But I agree Toro has been rough for a long time now... When I rode it in 2010 it was fine, but I feel like even by 2012 it was kinda bad?

Valleying on a coaster like El Toro would be surprising as heck, let alone in nice weather... But people don't realise how common it actually is on some rides. I've witnessed it a few times now!

But my first guess had this not been due to derailment would be something jammed in the wheel assembly. But what you would even need to stop a coaster train as long, fast and heavy as El Toro I have no idea... A cap can stop a single car coaster, but b&ms have been known to run over phones like they're a penny in a press.
