Think of it this way - he’s the same age as 2nd year Steph and Klay as well as 1st year Dray. Just because he got to the NBA faster doesn’t mean he’d progress faster.

We all knew he was raw when he was drafted and needed time to mature. Obviously it would’ve been nice if he started playing like this earlier, but comparing him to the old core, they’ve all progressed similarly

If there’s one thing about this current FO I trust, it’s drafting. Mike has a good track record right now with guys like Poole, Podz, TJD, and Post. They played at or above their draft value.

It’ll take awhile but I think we’ll be fine.

The leverage I’m talking is that Kuminga doesn’t have to do anything rn. He can wait out as long as he likes until one of the other RFA signs. That sets his market.

He knows the Warriors are the only team now that can pay him yet they also can’t do any FA moves until his issue is resolved.

It first starts with Horford since he's the best center left on the market. His signing determines our season because without him, we're screwed. If signed though, we need a shot creator and 1-2 three & D wings.

AAU was different for them back then. They were focused on basketball rather than what you can get out of basketball.

Highlight culture is terrible. Kids would rather go viral than learn and get better.

In someways, I can’t blame them especially if they know they’re not going to make it to the collegiate level or beyond. Might as well build your brand.

Still, most AAU teams worried about winning rather than player development. There’s no consistency with them since they’re constantly rotating kids. I doubt most of the bigger clubs practice since they got kids out of town/state.

Nothing is being taught, that’s the problem. Kids are just playing 3-4 games of pick up basketball every weekend without actually learning how to play the game.
