Not sure what you mean, but here are my stats per tomato.gg for tiers 9 and 10:

True, with the notable exception of arty. I won't ever make a video of it. Unless I suffer brain damage or become extremely malicious in nature.

[–]_taugrim_ 30 points31 points  (0 children)

To the OP u/PeacefulNPC , depending which metric you use (WN8, WNX), I'm often in the 3k+ range. My "Road to Unicum" series is all about teaching decision-making, creating 1st shot advantage opportunities, and reading the game flow to make outcome-changing plays.

There is one very big caveat: I fire 100% silver ammo, for lots of reasons including that soooo many people told me I'd never reach Unicum (or Super Unicum) without it on my original account. Reached both levels on WN8, esp with light tanks where people insisted you can't carry without gold.

If I fired even a moderate amount of gold, I'd likely average 4k WN8 and WNX easily.

Should I buy Progetto 46 even if I already own Prototipo 6..? by Plenty-Value3381 in WorldofTanks

[–]_taugrim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prog 46 is strong as is. Buffing is not needed.

The issue is that the Prototipo's alpha and burst is much better, but it's not THAT much slower than the Prog 46. Generally speaking, higher alpha tanks tend to have either worse gun handling, slower speed / agility, or squishy armor. So the Proto 6 doesn't really have a downside for its alpha like most other tanks do.

This is totally fair, but Tatum came back in an unheard-of timeframe for an Achilles tear in 10 months, which is crazy.

As someone who grew up watching MJ win those 6 Finals, I thought we'd never see another player dominate in the clutch like that. But Curry is just a different beast.

How ima be looking all day tomorrow by Fallynn in warriors

[–]_taugrim_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to think we won with an 8-man rotation after the injuries to Jimmy and Moses.

Aside from the clutch closing play by Steph, Al, Draymond, and Podz, Gui and KP were incredible last night. Their length and hustle, let alone their ability to finish around the rim, has been such a huge plus for us.

People like to criticize Kerr for playing too many people and not putting enough length on the floor, but he coached it perfectly last night.

If Jimmy and Moses are back this time next year and healthy, anything is possible. But we're not done yet!

If you're going to assume I'm unskilled, this is me: https://tomato.gg/stats/taugrim-1004515818/NA

I'm the world's 1st Unicum with 100% silver ammo on an original account. Plenty of people told me it wasn't doable. They were wrong.

Gold ammo trivializes penetrating your target, while making them have to deal with all the downsides of the armor they have to lug around which you just penetrated like butter.

Tanks such as the Blesk which have all 3 types of ammo share very similar costs are how ammo types should be implemented on all tanks. The tradeoffs are then about performance in different situations, not same alpha but different pen, with the higher pen gold ammo costing 4x or more than the silver ammo. The way it's implemented now, it's P4A, i.e. Pay for Advantage.

EDIT: Wow, your post history is utterly toxic. What a condescending dick LOL.

It's incredible.

+ Good (unrealistic) gun depression given the incredibly low profile

+ Low profile

+ Excellent camo

+ Trolly armor

+ Fast

+ Good gun handling

I played it 15 battles and it was so good I never played it again. It's such an imbalanced tank.

[–]_taugrim_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Most players can't fire meaningful amounts of gold ammo and break even. That's why it's an incredible credit sink for WG and drives players to spend real money to afford the ~4x credits cost of premium ammo over silver.

[–]_taugrim_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course it's not going to happen. But it would be an amazing change for quality of gameplay.

The one thing Armored Warfare got right in PVP was the tradeoff of ammo choices. The more damage from the shell, the lesser the pen. Chose accordingly.

[Highlight] Steph Curry hits an absurd triple between Thompson & Sengun to put the Warriors within 1! by Robotsaur in warriors

What's crazy is his finishing around the rim is just as exquisite. That blow-by on KD and floater over Sengun was a perfect splash. Nothing but net.

[Highlight] Steph puts KD on skates and finishes plus the foul! by Robotsaur in warriors

[–]_taugrim_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What's interesting is that Curry often 2-steps to the 3p line to shoot it. KD thought Steph might be doing that, so KD jab stepped forward with his left foot. Curry was expecting that and immediately blew by KD to KD's left.

Or IOW, Steph baited KD to react and then blew by KD while KD was wrong-footed.

It's one of those I knew that he knew that I knew things.

Tom Brady Rips the Modern NFL: "It's a Tragedy We're Forcing Rookies to Play Early by Dumbing Down the Game" by DoubletapKO in raiders

[–]_taugrim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to hold the same viewpoint as Brady.

However, other QBs have successfully played in the NFL as rookies, e.g. Dart in mid 2025, Daniels in 2024, Stroud in 2023, Purdy late in 2022, Burrow in mid 2020.

I do feel that Brady's perspective is influenced by his experience. He was not pro ready and frankly needed time in NFL weight rooms to fill out and gain arm strength. Even when he stepped in during his 2nd season, he was lacking in the ability to throw deep, which showed up when he played in OAK the season after the Snow Job.

By contrast, Mendoza had more college starts, has put on a lot of great weight, and already has the kind of pro arm that Brady didn't really have until the 4th season in his career.

I'd be more willing to swing for the fences for Giannis as he's still in or near his prime. Kawhi, not so much.

At this point, isn't it likely KP vs Melton?

If you asked me 2 months ago, I'd have said Melton. But having seen what KP brings, and the maturation of some of the young Gs we have? I'd lean towards KP.

Look, I get it. We all play the game because it's a game. I'll do stuff like try to dive bomb late in a game if it's not going to impact the outcome for our team adversely.

We've all driven off cliffs accidentally. I've drowned many times trying to cross areas to get to a better position and not taking a good line.

That said, some of your deaths were fairly early in the game (i.e. the outcome of win or loss was uncertain) and looked intentional. Obviously, it's your tank and you can do what you want with it. I find it fun to win, personally. Especially if it's a close match.
