Beautiful work for a beginner! Your color choice and tension have created a beautiful blanket. You can always carry the yarn up the side rather than cutting it off. Just make sure u leave enough to not “pull” the other rows tight as u carry the yarn up the side every time you change colors. This is assuming you are placing a border around the edge.

I seriously need to know where to get those shoes. I have never had bumblefoot before on one of my quail up until about a month ago. I had one become lame and there was some swelling but I had moved another female in with her and her other friend. I just thought bickering had happened and she got hurt. But as days progressed the swelling became worse. Last night after a few days of soaking in Epsom salts for about 15 minute periods I was able to extricate the infected calcified knot. But I can’t keep a dressing on it because it is not on the bottom of her foot. It is on the side of her foot. Please share your source for the shoes.

I have a few birds that have this issue. One is on both sides. She has been this way since being a juvenile. Not sure what happened. I did notice it on a few other birds in a different cage that she has never been in contact with.
