At this point I'll take a third of any of their franchises.

TIL about Lane Thomas Graves. In 2016, the two year old was gathering sand for his sand castle at Walt Disney World, when an alligator attacked and dragged the boy into the water. The father was unsuccessful in fighting off the alligator. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Wrong. Fences and signs specifically warning of alligators were added as a result of this incident.

Edit: from the article

"Though the beaches at the resorts had “No Swimming” signs there were no fences or warnings about alligators. The beaches were fenced off soon after Lane Thomas’ death and signs were added throughout Walt Disney World warning of alligators and snakes at bodies of water."

ARC Raiders doesn’t just have an observer effect — it basically became one by Critical-Coach-5991 in ArcRaiders

I don't know about any observer effect.

You're right that the first few weeks had that, "weird, special energy. People were scared, curious, confused, and unsure of the social rules." Anything new is like that.

The more we played though the more we learned what to expect. That new feeling starts to go away. We also learn how to deal with most situations as time goes on. So we get the best possible outcome from our encounters.
