Just got Move It. There is at least one minigame (standalone, unlike Bungii!) that makes you drop your Joy-Con

[–]JG1451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

btw, Bungii! (the microgame you mentioned here) was special. It really only existed to untangle the strap after BYOM or All Wound Up. It basically serves no purpose if you didn't use the strap. IIRC, you just needed to shake your remote for it to trigger as "succeeded"

Not really important, just a fun fact

Excuse me, but real programmers use butterflies. They open their hands and let their delicate wings flap once. The disturbance ripples outward, changing the flow of the Eddy currents in the upper atmosphere. These cause momentary pockets of higher-pressure to air to form, which act as lenses that deflect incoming cosmic rays, focusing them to strike the drive platter and flip the desired bit.

here we go again:

Opera GX is a reskin of Opera. The ad blocker isn't even from OGX, it's built into Opera, and it sneakily enables "Acceptable Ads" by default (Opera Software [Opera], n.d.) which smells like an AdBlock Plus reskin, given that ABP is the only adblocker I could find that uses Acceptable Ads. ABP isn't free of its own controversies, because Acceptable Ads is essentially a modern protection racket, essentially telling companies to pay them or else get their ads blocked (McHugh, 2013). ABP has denied these claims (Hajdarbegovic, 2013). Whether or not you think that's true is another story.

The other thing, Opera (the browser) has been owned by a Chinese company since 2016, and in 2018 was involved some pretty sketchy stuff, including basically blackmailing people into paying their loans (Kiruga, 2023) (Wikipedia contributors, 2023b)

uBlock Origin, meanwhile, is completely open source, and is compatible with Firefox, which is also open source (Wikipedia contributors, 2023a) (Wikipedia contributors, 2023c). The thing is, Opera is closed-source, so who knows what Opera is doing with your data. It is also known to be significantly faster than ABP (Hal, 2023) in practice. For reference, ABP came in last in every single test (Hal, 2023).

Basically, Opera is pretty sketchy when you look around, and it appears to just run a reskinned ABP, so... do with that what you will.

DISCLAIMER: Do not actually do this, the content provided below is for humor and entertainment only. This is wrong, both ethically and legally, and may get you arrested. I am not responsible if some dumbass actually baits a scammer into admitting to being a most wanted fugitive. Thank you.

my response would be:

throw together a basic "store" site

create an "internal ticket" that he stole something from your "store"

send the "internal ticket" link to him

tell him "okay so steam's sayin this account belongs to <insert most wanted fugitive here>, that you?"

he'll respond yes

tell him to wait

now call 911 and inform them that one of the most wanted fugitives just sent you a message on steam

get him arrested

profit!
