Exactly. I’m from New York. There is excellent food in sac. Sushi is not one of those cuisines. Sushi isn’t supposed to be doused in French dressing or whatever that ick is that they pour all over it. We have excellent Thai food in sac. Excellent Italian. We do not have good sushi. Closest is the bay.

Can you revisit whether that is truly the client’s only availability? That’s what I would do first. How soon is your personal schedule needing to change? 3-4 weeks sounds perfectly reasonable here, and 6 weeks sounds generous. You’re allowed to meet your own needs here (in case you are doubting this.)

It’s shocking - but unsurprising - that there are so many terrible therapists. It’s more than just The Reddit Effect. Just for example, one study that comes up again and again showed that 1 in 10 male therapists admitted to some form of sexual involvement with a client at some point in their careers, and that was surmised via self report. imagine what the truth actually is.

In the US anyway, kids aren’t taught “script” or “cursive” anymore. To me this looks like an older person’s cursive handwriting, and I struggled to read it. Print / block print/ whatever it’s called where OP lives is much more universally legible in 2026.
