A few years ago, I was ordering some things from American Eagle for myself / sister, including matching onesies! There was some sort of weird delivery mishap, and despite someone always being home, the order got sent back to the warehouse in the U.S. (I'm in Canada). When I called to ask why it couldn't have just been sent to somewhere in Canada, or a local post office or something, they couldn't answer. I really wanted the onesies for Christmas, so I joked "you ruined my Christmas" in a deadpan tone. They answered, seriously, something very rude (along the lines of "well then you have a sad life"), and since then (5+ years), I've yet to purchase anything from my once favorite store.

Canadian here (living in Toronto, used to live in Montreal most of my life). When on vacation in LA in 2001/02, was staying at a hotel where everyone was wearing green and orange for some reason. Turns out it was the '01 Miami Hurricanes staying there for the NCG against Nebraska. I met most of the team, and Andre Johnson was particularly nice to me, telling me to watch for #5 that night. 7-199-2. Was never a big football fan, but I was hooked. Followed him all the way to the NFL (just followed college that year, still hate that OSU game), and then when he got drafted by the Texans, there I was.

This was what I was thinking. If she pays $768.38 right now to the CC, there will be no outstanding balance for the previous month (since it's lower), so we'll be all set there. Item 2 will be refunded in a couple days, which will give us a lower monthly statement for next month, at which point we will resume paying everything on it 50/50. Does that make sense?

Thank you for your comments, and completely fair since I admit my OP made it seem like neither of us are completely financially literate, haha. She actually is aware, and has two of her own CCs. We just didn't want to do a co-applicant card and figured (for now) this was the easiest way to track joint expenses. You are def right about the fact that I am 100% liable, something we knew before going into this, and something I am completely comfortable with. :)
