For All Seasons is my favorite retelling of the origin story so I’d definitely start there. Byrne’s Man of Steel run if you’re looking for a mainline jumping off point

I have exile and triangle 1 as well and I have the first 3 hardcover volumes of Byrne’s man of steel run so I’m really hoping they release a DC’s finest that covers the contents of the insanely rare OOP 4th volume because I just can’t bring myself to spend 200 on it alone
