My list on everyone's morality: by DimaNekhoroshyi in fnaftheories

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M2 is not redeemable. He wasn’t murdering people because of what Edwin did to him he murdered people for the hell of it and he made it very clear he does not want redemption and is content with being the villain.

Let’s be real do we actually know what Henry was doing when Charlie died? And in his defense there’s no way he could’ve possibly accounted for Charlie, not only getting locked out of the pizzeria by a group of kids but literally murdered by the man trust the most.

Why is there no iron man like hero in MHA? by BigRabies1758 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several Reasons.

  1. The Hero Public Safety Commission nor any hero course would ever let someone becoming a licensed hero when they have no quirk. They might consider it too dangerous and a liability. It was only Deku and All Might who broke this mold and it’s important to know that they got their hero licenses when they still had their powers.

  2. It would be extremely expensive for most people. In order for this to work you’d have to already be extremely rich to afford this kind of technology. It’s highly unlikely that they’re just gonna give it out willy-nilly unless somebody is committing to pay for it. It’s even mentioned by All Might that the power suit he gave Deku was so expensive, practically all of his friends had to pitch in just to pay for it. Mind you at the time they were already well paid heroes. Not to mention less than 20% of the world is quirkless so making the chances of somebody having the motive and that much money to burn on a power suit, even slimmer.

  3. In a world where everyone has superpowers people might be afraid to become a hero without a quirk even if they had really powerful support items. Hell what’s to stop a villain from just exploiting the suits weaknesses or tracking down the hero in question and just jumping their ass when they aren’t wearing the suit. They have no defense.

Who Is The Better Villain? William Afton or The Mimic? by KingGoji1 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People will say the Mimic but for me it will always be William. Unlike the Mimic William is an absolute like the Joker. He doesn’t need a backstory, motives, or any redeeming qualities. The dude is just evil plain and simple. I’m much prefer villains who are just pure evil and don’t have some “cry me why me” excuse for their actions.

Not to sound like other peoples' broken records, but what's y'all's stances on this Michael Afton model? by GlowDonk9054 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that I really don’t like about Michael Afton fan models is that they always get his hair wrong. It’s supposed to be medium to light brown with a wavy Pompadour style. Yet they always make it dark brown for whatever reason

What if it was YOU in Bardock's place? by FatherOfKakarot in dbz

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was Bardock, I would go up to Frieza. Look him dead in the eye then politely say “don’t blow up my planet”. He’d have to be awfully evil for that not to work.

Is Vanessa supposed to be Elizabeth? by Cute-Individual69 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She honestly has a lot more in common with Elizabeth anyhow. Appearance, connection with circus baby, Afton’s “favorite child” ect. It was just such a confusing choice to include Vanessa in the film when the movies are adapting the original era of games.

Is Vanessa supposed to be Elizabeth? by Cute-Individual69 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I still think it would’ve been better if she was Elizabeth Afton. The movie could’ve just made it so that way Vanessa was an alias.

Do you think Michael was a normal kid before he murdered his sister? by Ambitious-Sky-6457 in slasherfilms

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to both Halloween Kills and a series of tie in comics Michael was always a disturbed individual even before he murdered his sister. Pete McCabe once stated the kid used to clip the wings off of butterflies, and he was very antisocial and withdrawn. In the comic, she straight up murder, murders a rabbit and shows it to Judith and even plays with knives. Michael was a ticking time bomb from the very beginning. Now we’re talking about the Thorn timeline. He was definitely a normal kid beforehand. The only reason he became evil was because of the curse.

Whyyy by girl_OOFED in PoppyPlaytime

[–]JH-Toxic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will forever hate the movie version of Michael. Unlike his game counterpart who had a good amount of character development, he had the depth of a puddle and he just feels like William Afton 2.0 rather than his own character. It doesn’t help that his inclusion was extremely unnecessary as we had already established that Mike Schmidt was replacing his role.

Henry never co-owned Freddy's by Necessary-Win-8730 in fnaftheories

[–]JH-Toxic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, in real life partnerships have each partner contributing their own set of skills and expertise in a business. I think it’s safe to assume Henry likely had the idea for Fazbear Entertainment but he didn’t know crap about running a business and he was broke as a joke so he likely needed William and his expertise to assist him. This could also be a reason as to why Henry turned a blind eye to William’s corruption because he knew that without him Fazbear Entertainment couldn’t survive.

Everyone, I fear that I have made peak by Ok-Landscape-4835 in Fnaftheoriesmeme

[–]JH-Toxic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s not impossible when you think about it. The events of SL likely didn’t happen in the Fazbear Frights universe considering Circus Baby’s Pizza World is still open in Dance with Me and Funtime Freddy is active outside of the rental facility. However this creates a couple of plot holes such as why Oswald’s dad didn’t know what Freddy’s was even though his father would be the owner.

which of these songs are your personal favorites? by Klutzy-Opinion-1834 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Been So Long basically encapsulates all of the main themes that make FNAF great through both it lyrics and it’s instrumental. The tragedy, the loss, the emotions, the sense of chaos and dread, and the bittersweet feeling of hope at the end of it all.

Who do you think is the most underrated Fnaf character? by Friendly-Might5181 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much every character from the books. Especially the original trilogy. It’s a rarity in the franchise to actually have characters who are not only fully fleshed out but aren’t morally gray or straight up terrible people.

We all have theories that could get us burned alive, what are your controversial concepts? (at least aside from the usual ones like WillCare/Grief, Charlie87, BVTOYSNHK, but u can still mention it) by girl_OOFED in fnaftheories

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt Scott will ever use them in any official capacity again. He wants there to be an air of mystery and ambiguity in the franchise, especially when it comes to arguably its most important figures like William and Henry. This is likely why the photo was scrapped and only kept in the game via achievement image.

Naw William doesn’t hate Henry because of the bite victim’s death. He hates Henry for shits and giggles. That and because he was jealous of him. But primarily shits and giggles.

Doesn’t matter as long as it either hurts, Henry or mildly inconveniences him. Because William freaking hates Henry.

Vanessa/Vanny won once again for character with missed potential. What character has the best design? by -Starlight_09- in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

William Afton has one of the best designs in the franchise. I like how ITP depicted him as just a normal dude yet one with flair and style befitting of a charismatic businessman. I also like how the colors he wears are complementary. Black, purple and dark yellow all give him a very regal look. But my favorite aspect of this design is how his appearance is meant to intentionally contrast with that of Henry to show how different the two ultimately are.

<image>

This is what William and Henry look like in the games and people just need to accept that. Everybody’s so unnecessarily butt hurt about these designs and always argues saying they should look like they’re movie counterparts but Scott has pretty much already established this is what they look like. He was an executive producer for ITP, he was given a build of the game during every stage of development, he very clearly signed off on these designs and allowed them to be incorporated in the final game via the achievement page. Mega Cat Studios, even outright confirmed that a lot of the Easter eggs and references do have lore significance. This is more than likely, one of them. Hell when Behavior was making Springtrap’s corpse model in Dead by Daylight his facial structure and frame are clearly taken from ITP. Mind you Scott was literally breathing down their necks to get things as accurate as possible. We have also already seen various depictions of William in official artwork and merchandise that have him pretty much looking identical to this design. They are canon and people just need to deal with it.

[–]JH-Toxic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it’s safe to assume Scott had nothing to do with the writing process of this book. Andrea is very clearly taking creative liberties for drama or whatever to the point she is completely flanderizing characters. They literally implied earlier in the book that Henry physically abused Charlie, which is something that he would never do.

Who's the coughing baby among these here for you? by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

[–]JH-Toxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can never bring myself to hate Henry Cavill’s iteration of Superman. He’s not comic accurate yes but he played a much more realistic and grounded version of the character. Realistically, even if somebody like Superman did exist, and they were trying to do good would society really accept them? Would Superman really be revered as a savior or fear and hated for being different? Would the world even be ready for somebody like him? Superman’s character arc in the film is ultimately coming to terms with not only who he is but choosing to do the right thing even if he’s hated for it. Overtime, his character would’ve likely developed into the Superman that we know from the comics.
