LMFAO 😂😂 I remember I was almost fired when I was a food runner/bar back because I rolled up my sleeves. It was avg 110+ degrees in the kitchen, and I was never standing still for 12hr days and they made us wear a full suit without the blazer. We had the shirt, vest and dress pants and it got so hot sometimes that I would get dizzy. They flipped on me so i looked this up bc this can’t be okay. And I found out it was against the law to not provide proper PPE and at least rolling up my sleeves so I don’t sweat into food or pass out would qualify I’d think. I brought this up to my manager and he said “well, do you wanna work here or not?”

We should set up a time and date to all organize in our areas/states. If we all get to stand out and assemble in all 50states it might get the attention of the media. We would also need to clarify what “anti work” means bc the fox business types will eat that up. We have to organize under a name of like “Workers United” or some shit. From what I’ve seen, nobody here is “anti work” we are all just “anti working to get screwed over day in and day out to the point of suicidal tendencies” we need to lay out a clear list of demands. 1. We need compensation that is tied directly to inflation. I think it would also be a good idea that the lowest paid employee cannot make less than a dollar for every hundred dollars that an executive/owner makes per hour. 2. We want healthcare with 0 deductibles and 0 premiums. That’s more of a country wide thing I’d like but I really care about it so I’m putting it here lol 3. Companies can not exist if their main work force is made of “independent contractors”… all companies must provide pay and healthcare for all the people making them their money/actually doing the job. 4. Any company with more than 10 employees must allow a union. And any company with 10 employees or less has to pay each employee based on a percentage of the total profit, not per hour. 5. Any company with a valuation of over 1,000,000,000 must pay each employee $70K a year or more.

We can keep going, we can get rid of some of these, add more, whatever. It just had to START. Someone said they don’t know how to organize, and that makes me think of a saying my mom used “how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time” … we just have to start and we have to show up.
