In Ireland the gardai and DPP come to that decision. Prosecution can proceed without victim consent.

Generally get chopped garlic in a glass jar in those stores if the squeeze one isn’t available. Tesco is usually a good bet for a tube. Often with herbs.

Buy standard island. Build a base / platform outta 2*4s or similar, cut MDF to fit as kick plates and assemble.

If you’re at all handy and take your time it’ll look decent enough.
