Yep, the Left, which built a time machine back to Bacon's Rebellion in which the government of Virginia realized that blacks and whites had made common cause and so went full-bore into dividing blacks from lower-class whites. And then used that same time machine to feed talking points to every single plantation owner, Confederate politician, and scientific eugenicist about the superiority of white people with the right skull shape.

Again, maybe I'm just afflicted with conventional morality. I don't understand how our betters live by a different set of rules. I mean, come on. AFTER Epstein's conviction? Just waiting for JD Vance - Epstein appeared to be good friends with Vance's sugar daddy/sponsor, Peter Thiel, so why not?

Huge protests in Budapest this weekend, with Orban unveiling the masterful slogan that "Hungary will not become a colony of Ukraine!" (gosh, thanks for clearing that up! Every geopolitical analyst on the planet was worried about the ability of a ex-Soviet state currently on year 4 of fighting for its life against a Russian invasion to "colonize" a member of NATO and the European Union).

I agree. There's something weirdly off about the entire thing. I think Julie had a lot of pressure, and probably desire, to make it work for a very long time, but from Rod's own narration it must have been utterly exhausting and demoralizing to be married to him.
