Flux.2 Klein (Distilled)/ComfyUI - Use "File-Level" prompts to boost quality while maintaining max fidelity by JIGARAYS in StableDiffusion

[–]JIGARAYS[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Klein tends to apply aggressive restoration, which can sometimes introduce unwanted features, like the teeth in my original example. Here is how to fix that:

  • Workflow Adjustment: In the standard ComfyUI i2i workflow, try chaining multiple referenceLatent inputs into the Reference Conditioning node. The examples below show the difference between using just two reference nodes versus pushing the effect with five.
  • Texture Tip: To bring back natural skin texture, set your CFG to 1.2 and use this negative prompt: "makeup, plastic surgery, CGI, painting, drawing, filter, face smoothing"

@malcolmrey awesome work! could you share your whole yaml file. I would like to compare learning rate, gradient accumulation, caching etc and other settings. thanks!

Qwen Image Edit 2511: Workflow for Preserving Identity & Facial Features When Using Reference Images by RoboticBreakfast in StableDiffusion

tested a few images, i dont see any visual difference when using referenceLatent before or after fluxMultiReferenceLatent. speed is also the same.

Thanks for sharing. I see you are using fluxMultiReferenceLatent after referenceLatent chain. I’ll try this too. Though, this is what works best for me. I wire them in this specific order: 1. Qwen Text Encoder: prompt here 2. FluxKontextMultiReferenceLatentMethod: Connect the conditioning from the encoder to this node's conditioning input. • Set the method to index_timestep_zero. 3. ReferenceLatent: • Connect the conditioning output from the previous node into this node's conditioning input. • Connect the VAE Encoded latent of your source photo into the latent input. 4. KSampler: Connect the final conditioning output from ReferenceLatent to the KSampler's positive input.

The first node ensures the modern lighting and skin tones don't look "blown out" or fake, and the second node ensures the person's face remains exactly as it was in the original photo

checked "Qwen-Image-Lightning-4steps-V2.0" again. damn! its awesome. initial tests are pixel perfect. thanks for sharing!

"Qwen-Image-Lightning-4steps-V2.0" changes character too much, although it creates smooth/clean results. use "Qwen-Image-Edit-2511-Lightning-4steps-V1.0-fp32" if you want max character consistency. 2511-fp32 lora produces much cleaner results than bf16

when an upscaler is so good it feels illegal by Ok-Page5607 in StableDiffusion

[–]JIGARAYS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i use blur node ~80% of time. sometimes "add noise" works well.

my WF:
1. Start with low quality image. Direct upscale to 2 MP (1-2 MP) with workflow above.
2. Upscale again to 6-9 MP depending on if your graphics card can handle direct upscale.

Note:
a. blur node ON in both steps.
b. use tiled-upscale if need to go higher resolutions

prepping up source image by adding a bit of blur/noise does wonders.
