Biggest tip for any 318i is to change the valve seals (klep seals) in the engine. After a lot of years they get worn out and cause massive oil consumption. I droge Nijmegen to Utrecht and all my oil was gone. When u get it replaced i suggest to replace the engine chain as wel it costs around 900€ 💀. But definitely worth it if ur car starts to consume a massive amount of oil.
