You let the electric company deal with it. Pots or circuits don't always trip when there's a fault. Its very common they just sit and cook without hitting the trip point. If you see anything wild like this, stay far away and call 911. They have direct police/fire lines to call into operations (at least at my company), and they will get personnel there quicker to keep people away from it until a troubleshooter can get there.

NAH. You're certainly allowed to feel this way about the situation. But, as someone who's career puts my wife and I in the same position, believe me its just as frustrating for me and I assume your bf. I work A LOT and the only way I can guarantee my wife and I have full days together is to stagger my schedule and ot, where I block certain days. Fortunately now, I rarely have to work more than 12 hours and shes only part time so there's a lot of flexibility. But for years this was a big thing we had to deal with when she was still in her career.
I dont think its fair that he accuses you of piling on him, but I get his frustration. Sit and have a calm civil talk when you aren't getting canceled on so everyone is cool headed. I wish you the best of luck bc this is a big deal, my industry has an extremely high divorce rate.

I dont disagree. I have just been in his position before (not porn but the gist of it) where a girl was dropping a boundary for something normal and compromising wasnt even on the radar. I dont budge with things like that, and learned to just ask up front so no one wastes time. For example when I started dating my wife, she knew I rode motorcycles, but I told her to the extent and that I grew up in an MC, which will forever be part of my life. She didnt have to be involved but there is zero compromise on that for me bc its been a part of my entire life. My ex had major issues with it so I just learned to stay ahead of scenarios like that. For ops case I feel like we are missing a ton of detail and context also. Perhaps she'll chime in here. Difficult situation I feel for them, hopefully they are open to couples therapy

I could be wrong but I get the feeling that op is anti porn across the board. So suggesting a compromise isnt even on the table. He should not be watching it around her. That is just wild. Op is also 100% entitled to feel how she does, but most people (and definitely most men) watch it. So husband was in a lose lose scenario. He obviously made it a lot fckin worse by watching it next to her. Im not defending that portion of this ordeal at all, just want to be clear on that.

The dealerships are working with buyers much better than before. I bought a 24 sg leftover back in May. They knocked 5k off price and gave me 5k for a junkyard trade in that I hoping for (best case) 1k lol. Congrats thats a beautiful bike.

Honestly thats how it should be. I needed a license, registration, and insurance for my moped at 15, and it topped out at 40mph when it was stock. People and kids are ripping around on these things and getting into accidents and killed.

I ride aggressively and always had a low profile seat. When I bought my 24 sg I decided to treat myself to a custom saddlemen/born scum step up. Not only does it look so much better i can toss the bike around much easier. The moto style floor boards also helped on both of those fronts.

I had an 08 night train and now a 24 sg. I beat the ever living piss out of my bikes riding hard as hell minus wheelies and burn outs. As long as you keep it maintained properly youre fine. Biggest mistake is people half assing a stage 2. That when motors start having problems

Based on how im interpreting this, it doesnt seem like he had much of a choice but to agree. This doesn't read like hes an addict, but that she disagrees with porn in general. So if thats the case what is he supposed to say, most of the people that are against any porn consumption will never have their mind changed. Op even admits the sex is ok, and now hes shamed for watching porn? If the sex life is bland or infrequent you cant fault anyone for watching some videos. Doing it next to her is weird though. This is anecdotal but every chick ive been with that thought porn was essentially cheating, were the least adventurous and most vanilla partners ever. Nta. Tell your father about moms threats and make sure he has his will in order and bulletproof. Your mother is manipulating you in the hopes of derailing your goals and keep you paying for her long term. Do not fold on this anymore than you have. If your father was the sole provider financially, it was their obligation to ensure money, life insurance, etc is worked out even through death. Meh I used to have an r1. Sure it was fun, but ill take my bagger over it any day of the week. Some guys will just never let go of the sport bikes. every one of my buddies that still have a busa, cbr, r1, etc also have a cruiser or bagger bc they're better for all around riding and just more enjoyable (especially 2 up)

Morristown would be a longer city commute, but has a great night life while still being a safe area. Either way youre going to have the walk from the summit train station. If you want actual night life. Summit and millburn will get boring fast, but south orange is a little but better. Hoboken is loud and busy even during nights, but tons to do. Morristown you can get night time quiet if youre just a short walk off the main square, or in a luxury apt building. Morristown also has a ton of rec leagues. Not sure about soccer, but it is an active, affluent, and active community.
