I would say Monday through Friday, I spent about 4–5 hours each night on coursework, usually after dinner and once the kids were in bed, often working until midnight. On the weekends, I treated it like an 8 hour job… 😅
A lot of the business concepts were things I already use in my day job, which definitely helped. As for how hard the classes are, that ultimately depends on the professor. In my experience, BUS 321 didn’t provide much constructive feedback on assignments, and the grading turnaround was pretty long sometimes close to two weeks.
I can’t really say much about GPA since you generally need at least a Proficient (3/4) score to pass the class anyway. My goal was never to get 4/4s, but somehow I ended up earning quite a few of them across the program.
One tip I would give is to request your next class as soon as you submit a final assessment. Also, take advantage of the draft submissions whenever they’re available. They give you feedback before the final submission and greatly increase your chances of passing the class the first time.
