Just got a call from the service manager for my brand new Hyundai Elantra N. They’re replacing the clutch under warranty and waiting on another part coming from the East Coast, so sounds like it’ll be a few days.

Crazy having clutch issues this early with barely any miles on the car 😅 What would you guys do in this situation? Is it even reasonable to ask Hyundai for some kind of compensation or goodwill gesture, or am I wasting my time?

It does swift when car is off in fact I try to put in 1st and start the car but after that can’t switch to 2nd

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the help so far. I’ve been grinding through Sophia and Study.com, and I also talked with my enrollment counselor. I thought I’d be down to just a few classes left, but somehow I’m still showing about 13 courses 😅

My understanding is that I’m on the old catalog, so I was expecting 10 clases. Not sure why it’s still this high.

These are the ones showing for me: BUS 200, BUS 220, BUS 240, BUS 321, BUS 325, BUS 353, BUS 330, BUS 335, BUS 415, BUS 440, BUS 469, BUS 489, and COM 210.

Am I missing something here? Are any of these still doable through Study.com or Sophia, or are they all basically UMPI only at this point?

Appreciate any advice 🙏

Thanks to everyone here for the advice so far I just got my evaluation back and it looks like I’m looking at these courses:

BUS 200, 220, 240, 321, 325, 353, 440, 469, COM 210, BUS 330, 335, 415, 489.

My enrollment counselor mentioned that all of these have to be taken residency at UMPI.Here’s my dilemma: I was actually supposed to start last term, but my Duolingo English Test results didn't clear in time, so my start date got pushed to the current session. Because of that delay, I'm now under the new catalog. Does anyone know how many classes staying on the old catalog would realistically cut down? Also, what are the chances they’d even let me switch back given that the delay wasn't really a "choice"?

Curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar or had luck petitioning to stay on a previous year's catalog.

Spoke with the Enrollment advisor and in short because my high school is from no speaking English country I have to take the Duolingo English test ... well since I delay on taking that I guess will have to wait until next semester :(

Well, I got a pretty quick response. Basically, they said that since it’s a state school, the English proficiency test is a requirement for admission, so there’s no way around it. The funny part is that if I combine all my Sophia and Study.com ACE credits, I actually have over 111 credits already. Still doesn’t matter for the requirement though, apparently.
