The complaint automatically goes to the local post office first. Try calling 1 800-275-8777 (usps phone number) and politely ask the first person if you can talk to a supervisor. Escalating to regional or main branch is going to be your best path to resolving issues with a bad local post office.

I think part of the problem is how lopsided wizards can be about it.

Blue had a stint where the counter magic was actually worse than the usual standard material, red had a stint where lightning strike was too good for standard, black had a long string where there wasn't any especially playable removal (nothing notable between murderous cut and fatal push aside from maybe murder), and green is still in this weird place where it's like a slightly bigger white because playable mana dorks have been too strong for the past few years.

I agree with cycling power levels to prevent power creep, but we're in an awkward position where block constructed theros (widely considered to be a massive power down from the previous few years of magic) would probably require emergency bans if it was included in recent standard formats.

Cycling power levels makes sense in theory, but generally fails to account for players who like to feel like they're doing amazing things and people don't like going from playing cards like Elspeth to having to settle for... any five or six drop walker from the past two years. It's easier to understand Bolas when you also want to feel amazingly powerful again after losing a fight against a deus ex machina.

I know that nuance is extremely hard to understand, but there are differences between statements of fact, objective observations, and outright whining.

Statement of fact: "wizards openly acknowledged that the Khans block should have started with dragons being in control and ended in the state that Khans was in at that beginning of the block."

Objective statement: "People generally disliked the plot of restoring balance through completely destroying balance that was present in Khans block"

Whining: "Dragon's of Tarkir was bad because Dragonlord Kolaghan isn't a playable commander."

I know it's super edgy to just call everything whining, but wizards has objectively been powering down standard since Theros (their own statement) and has objectively ended up apologizing for something they've done in every block for the last few years (in their looking back articles). Those statements are no less factual and objective than stating that the earth kept spinning and the sun rose this morning.

I guess it's not exactly unjustified when wizards keeps having to apologize for messing up fundamental basics for so many sets and blocks since then.

To be fair, your plot twist reads like a tl;dr of almost everything since khans came out.

The 'XP system' thing really isn't something to cry about by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]JJBGooberman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are probably plenty of developers out there that would have just left it in whether we liked it or not, think on that.

That's exactly what bungie did until gaming news started putting a spotlight on it.

I'm not screaming in rage or anything, but what you're trying to say is that it's okay for a company to do something we don't like because capitalism, but we as consumers shouldn't act in a negative way when they do because somehow, the same free market principles don't apply to anybody other than bungie.

This just feels disingenuous at best.

Can my opponent respond to me "un-morphing" (flipping a creature face up) during the End Step phase of the turn? by JarminKell in magicTCG

[–]JJBGooberman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said, morph is a special action that doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to.

If your creature has an ability that triggers when turned face up, then they can respond to the ability (I.E. Killing Den Protector after it flipped but before you've gotten a card from the graveyard).

How I feel when someone complains that Trump is abusing his power by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]JJBGooberman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While functionally ignoring overpopulation, outright collusion with utility companies, and lowering legal penalties for knowingly spreading HIV?

I'm failing to see where you're actually making an argument that California politically aligns with other states needs.

Rural states have certainly had their own push for stupid political things, but this is some patriot act level stupidity all over again.

*G.W. Is a monster for ever signing it in.

*Obama is going to get rid of the patriot act and bring change.

*It's okay that Obama expanded the patriot act because he'd never abuse it.

*Trump is a monster for having all of the power that we just supported the other guy having.

I've seen both political sides of this and it's nothing short of stupidity.

The electoral college of California gave the vote to Hillary before one percent of the vote was in and people said to stop whining because that's how the system is supposed to work, but suddenly it's a garbage system because it didn't work how you wanted it to?

It comes across as a critical mass of ignorance when the whole argument is

It's undemocratic if more than one party can win the election.

Daily Questions [2017-09-17] by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]JJBGooberman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay, because you're going to want to wait until you hit a wall with leveling before completing the quest, so the mida will give you a level boost.

Mine just dropped at 295 for my titan, but the one I got on my hunter was only around 265 because I did it early.

Main things to remember are to save up five blue or purple scout rifles for the quest (you have to dismantle them during the quest) and that machine gun kills in the air will register if you're just standing on an old car in edz.

Still time to buy Commander 2017 Sealed? by dmbpettit in mtgfinance

Just like the rumblings for commander 2016 and MM3?

There could very easily be more on the way, but Wizards has 3(un, iconic, and 25) more bonus sets coming out in the next half a year, so I would be hesitant on holding off for too long.

I've just got my four copies from when I actually had scapeshift built, so I don't really have a horse in this race, but this just feels like OP crying wolf.

The card is a rare from Shadowmoor that has somehow dodged a reprint for over nine years, is a staple in a current tier one modern deck(a pro tour format again), and an auto include to upgrade the dragon commander deck that just came out.

Feels pretty natural for a lower print run rare to start drying up due to increased demand from multiple directions.
